My name is William Justice. I enjoy creativity, learning and trying out new things. The best way to learn is by doing. On this channel, I create videos about video editing and special effects. My editor of choice is Davinci Resolve. I use Fusion to create special effects and animations. My goal is to come up with unique ideas, learn how to make them happen and share what I learn. My Website billjustice.com Thanks for taking the time to check out my channel. Please subscribe and comment!
Fantastic video! The only one I got was the grid warp, but I use that node all the time to animate 3D models of the digestive system to illustrate peristalsis, segmentation, etc. it helped a lot when I realized I could use it with a mask to avoid warping the background too much. Fusion is amazing
Hi.. acutally I think there is an option to animate the canvas.. Its kind of hard to find... Try enabling the canvas mode, then open the animation drop down. There is an option for canvas keyframes. I think when you click that keyframe box it will keyframe the canvas positions. Thanks for watching.
Do you know how to take a still photo and make it seem like the background is moving? Say there is a lady with hair blowing in the wind in the picture and want to make it seem as if it’s moving in the wind using DR. I saw one channel do it, but it wasn’t well explained and didn’t work using his method.
Hey.. Not bad really. Its difficult because Fusion has so many different effects and there a many different ways to create different looks. Thanks for playing. Hope you enjoyed the video!
I would make a two point polygon with thickess, then publish the two points and finally, with an expression, make the point's coordinate the coordiantes of the people/departements. Sorry if unclear
Amazing. I got 950. I knew 1, 3, 8, 10. I knew the vignette node, but I never used it in fusion. I use the (more limited) color page to create some static, dark, vignettes.
Hey Bruno!!! thanks for watching and playing. Good Job!!! some of those are not easy. For vignette.. I dont use it in fusion either, but it can make for some interesting effects.
1350 I knew #1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10 -- I also liked the video XD and I'm thinkin about that extra node. so you'll see it update if I figure it out XD -- I think the extra node is just magic mask? You put things behind you every one.
nice… thanks for playing. that’s pretty good. 6 out of 10. honestly not sure how many I would get if I did not know what they were. hope you had fun with the video. you are currently in the lead!
thanks so much for this. Please do more tutorial on fusion , you would definitely get more view and subscribers if you dive into fusion page much deeper

omg this is wat im looking for ,,,,,now can u do the same but teach how to animated ,,,im trying to do a busy cursor ani.... but wit crazy things like that but i want to animated and continue animate like a gif.
Love your videos! I consider them all references. I add to playlists to rewatch them all. Do you have any tips for AUDIO? I never did a thing in Fairlight, but recently made a video where my voice was too low in volume. Thanks, and looking forward to ANY videos you make!
Thanks for the video, William. I need to watch it several times more, as fusion is really a challenge for me. In the meantime, maybe you or someone can point me in the right direction. What if I want an animation (lets just say a simple text scroll from bottom to top to make it easy), and I want it to occur over several clips, but the clips are all different lengths? I think I would put it on an adjustment layer, but how do I make it so it takes the exact length of the clip if the clips are different lengths? Thanks in advance.
saver and loader could be useful but I usually just export the rendered scene then add to the media pool - idk if I am blowing up my hard drive but seems to work for me
Great video, Tips, Tricks and Secrets... Thanks for this! I would like to know if everything presented can also be done in the Free version or just in the Studio version? Thank you and congratulations once again!
hey there great video i was looking for something like this! question is it possible to change the shape instead of a rectangle. for mine i was trying to make hexagons spaced out abit that will then have a neon line coming in on both right and left sides between the gaps and the trigger the flip transition. so was trying to see if it was possible to change the shape. or if you can add a shape change option too in your generator if possible
Hi, right now, the only option is to use rectangles. I am working on some new animations that will hopefully be able to use different shapes. No idea when I might get something working but I am looking at it.
@@WilliamJusticeMedia thanks for the quick reply and info! hope it works out. oh from the generated rectangles wouldnt it be possible to swap them with a polygon node in the form of a hexagon? if so ill probably try that!
hey william, i have a question. In your slide panel tool, when I add it to a vertical resolution timeline/clip, it gets stretched and a black screen appears in the fusion page. Is there any work around for this?
