Stupid question. How do I bring everything from the Edit page into Fusion that the playhead is playing as a background reference? I have looked for an answer but can't find one. I find it amazing that I can't see what the timeline would be showing. I am trying to place text letters in different places on the video and I’m shooting blind. If I open a clip in Fusion from the timeline, I only see that clip. I need to see the other clips that are stacked above and below the clip I opened in Fusion so I know where I want to place each letter. I hope this makes sense.

Its not quite magic.. just a bit of fusion... Yes.. it should be possible to have the text fly apart and then have different text gather at the end. Not too difficult

In the 35 years I’ve been doing video post production I have never once had a client ask me to do exploding text. Not even once!

yeah. I agree it’s probably not gonna be used much, this was more of an experiment to see what can be done . and how to generate animations automatically. in your experience, what type of text animations are the most used?

Great tool! Very interesting. I've been looking for a utility or script for a long time to break sentences into separate nodes by word or letter, may be something like Text Exploder for AE. Trying to make a script, but there is a problem with managing spaces between characters

Very nicely done. I would be very interested to learn how you get the app to create the node group in Resolve without you having to load anything manually.

it’s a bit complicated. I wrote some code to do it. so will be easy to create. new fusion animations.
