I love this presentation! So many points I could fill in examples on from real life. Thank you for making an elaborate topic, very digestible and interesting. Surely helps that you kick butt with presenting it. Very refreshing style!
Thanks for posting this brilliant conversation; i am so glad I chose to watch it. A wonderful rapport between these two bright and kind scholars and so many interesting and practical insights from the studies on empathy. Your work to bring such talks to the broader public is much appreciated!
I think its easy to wax poetic on the importance of authenticity, however, dealing with issues where divergent authenticities collide in the workplace sure seems one-sided these days. This quickly applies a "right" and "wrong" definition to ones authenticity. In other words, as long as your authenticity reflects the pushed social norm of the hour, you are fine, if not, you are a problem. This, in turn, crushes the notion of authenticity in the workplace for just about everyone, except for the loudest and most likely to be offended. Shame.
i woke up with chatter- never thought to tame it. i have discussions with people i "don't" trust, had mistrustful situations with, then, conversation continues in my mind(some chatter is to keep us safe). People i do trust, i feel at ease- i don't have the chatter. So, it shows me who to spend time with- but, my mind wants to hang on to help me not forget who is safe, who is not safe. I think i will journal about it- to lighten my worry. The pandemic did not worry as much as certain people do. Introspect is a chance to have a meeting with all your inner guides. Chatter can be a council of my inner world; who is in there, my family, friends. But, sometimes there are inner voices with arguments with people you never argued with other than your mind. So, i am learning to use my inner world more constructively. As an artist, i seem to not notice chatter- or it's friendly;-)
Hello, I have a question regarding the quantity of HQCs. Do you believe that more experienced HQC per week does make one feel more energetic or happier? (:
“If crisis can create social excellence without leadership, can leadership create social excellence without crisis?” -Gerard M. Anderson What a great question! Hope to create more tomorrow!
Unfortunately, mRNA vaccines were not the fantastic saviour people thought.. Personally, I know of brain- haemorrhage, shingles, cognitive issues, heart-attack, full body hives, bells-palsy, stroke and torso rashes.
Mental chatter is definitely something you want to get rid of. Living a life where the only thoughts that come across your mind are ones you intentionally brought to consciousness is enlightenment. Always experiencing the Flow State and living in the moment rather than in an imagined future or a nonexistent past.
WOW! Thank you so much for sharing this! I am so glad that I watched this, and have shared this information with my neighbor. Both of us have ordered the book and are excited to get it and start reading it! Thanks again
Yesterday I was working on my photoshop work, and I wrote the quote, which I want to be, I want to be the key to every door. After seeing this transformation video, I can solidly say that it is possible, it is possible to be the key to every door. I like to thank Mr. Robert for providing the lesson. It's progressing step towards transformation.
Revisited this outstanding panel on Antiracism, Allyship, and Authenticity! There is so much depth here with meaningful insights, strategies, tips, and more. Thank you, CPOS -Michigan Ross.
Wow what a great presentation! This was so helpful for me to make sure the diversity initiatives I was planning for my organization are actually effective. Thank you to the Center for Positive Organizations for sharing their excellent seminars with the world.
This seminar was so incredibly insightful. I love that Prof. Greer gives practical and data-driven advice. Anyone thinking about how to structure hierarchies and/or decision-making in their organization should watch this video!
