This is great. Shows that only one of the curves needs to be reintroduced to provide lots of new links. Would you have merseyrail battery trains from Liverpool run directly to Preston?

Great colourful video, thanks for posting. The diesel really should have been placed behind the A4, allowing it to "Pilot". In the lead it makes the A4 look "poorly"

+Steve Lewis Video Channel. Hi Steve, I knew the DMU was timed 30s after the steam passed. Could have gone higher up the bridge to look over the near train roof but I hadn't realised I was quite so low and by the time it became apparent I hadn't time to move the camera again. I Suppose it adds some realism with the people alighting etc. I didn't venture out in the morning because of the heavy rain. Although it had eased off a little by the time the train was due it was still very overcast. Good to hear from you. All the best.

Hi Mark...Great footage of 'Britannia' I think my 80 Year old Dad could have been stood on the same Bridge as you at Oyster Bend...He was using a little Digital Camera and wearing a Floppy Hat ! I wonder if it was you he spoke to about RU-vid etc.? He is after many Years as a Photographer trying to make simple Videos...Never too late ...lol..Cheers....Steve.~

Very glad you enjoyed the footage. It was the first time I had used a two camera technique and I was particularly taken by that long chime whistle blast just after the bridge which prompted to dub it in again over the leading titles.

Lovely Captures here, i was lucky enough to be on today's trip myself, i was extremely impressed on how well she tackled Whiteball tunnel and the inclines of the P&DSR. thanks for uploading these Mark, i will look out for more from you now that i have subscribed! Sam
