Coming from the other perspective. I saw a super good deal on craigslist, contacted them, and was all set to go get it. Then they texted me back and said they were selling to someone else who contacted them after me. I protested saying I was first, and they said yeah, but you're a green bubble, which is "sketch" and more risk, they felt safer meeting an unknown person with a blue bubble. Right then, right there, I realized that you suffer a kind of secret second-class citizenship if you're green bubble. It's not fair, it's not right, it's ridiculous. But it's real. My life improved after becoming a first class citizen and I started getting the good deals on craigslist, and swooped in to take deals AFTER someone with an Android contacted them first.
Google should up their game on this feature drop because all the feature drops on my pixel 6 is useless except for the ultra HDR in camera because of Regional barrier. Number lookup is a basic feature that should be roll out across all region like what we have on the iPhone.
I saw a video where Gemini could create, reschedule and then delete an appointment after several tries while Siri, which is known to be garbage and not AI, manages to do it first try. Gemini is ridiculously bad

I'm so glad Apple did this (especially with the icons). Now, Google will take themed apps seriously and force 3rd party app developers to implement it even more. It's good for us!

What are you talking about? Group chats support end to end encryption in Google Messages for a while now. If it's not supported, that means someone in the group chat is using a different app, not Google Messages.
I noticed many of those features like screen projection , and customization I noticed I have had on one ui for years but the satellite and Apple intelligence AI were pretty good
Yeah, I briefly thought about going back to after their Al announcement because they seem to be learning from Google and doing it better, but I know I would miss Android and regret it. Plus I expect Google will double down on their Gemini engineering and do something similar to Apple within or better the next 1-2 Pixel generations anyway, so my next Pixel should be on par with the best phone Al tools.

iPhone 13 mini: timer started; cannot open stopwatch; can set the alarm and turn it off; can turn bluetooth on and off but the iPad yelled at me across the room; 'taking a selfie in 10secs' made Siri make a note ''In 10 seconds' wtf; Siri opened the web about 'taking portrait photos'; auto-brightness yes; conversions yes; exchange rates weird; mathematics yes; reply yes but not smooth. I won't go on but I found it interesting how odd the differences are.

I have a Google Pixel 8 Pro device, and after the update, I encountered a problem with calls. When I receive a call, it gets disconnected after three or four seconds. However, after disabling the VoLTE feature, it works fine. Do you have the same problem?
