Excellent tutorial covering the key requirement of how to install the Estilo Cistern holding bracket which is sadly not detailed in the Instruction Sheet supplied with this great little unit.
It’s recommended for use with most threaded connections that don't have a built-in rubber seal. It also helps lubricate the connection, making the threading a bit smoother, and it helps prevent pipes from sticking when you want to disassemble the joint.
Nice video! I am wondering what did you use (plugs and screws) for anchoring the suspension rails to the walls? I am doing something similar and I have no idea how big they should be 😅
Impressive. What about start-stop system? Original battery is ISS type that means it is an EFB battery. This one is not EFB if i am not mistaken. Standard batteries cannot support ISS system and battery management does not handle (I mean charging the battery) well the normal, not EFB battery. Does this battery work for you in long term? Is it still good? thanx.
Thanks mate. Anyone have ideas on how to hide wires if you cannot hide them in the actual wall? In a rental & there's a bracket here which I'm excited about but don't want messy wires hanging out
FYI , in the facelifted 24.. There's no extraholes in that plate anymore, The original bolt can be replaced with a M6 , One behind / below the rollershutter is gone. Ones running horizontal along the tray are M8 bolts.
1. Highly recommend video. 2. This seat has variable fittings which is ideal for inexperienced DIY-ers! -------- Thanks for video, @Project Lex I saw your note on Bunnings website! --------- Okay, done in 20 mins! My only irritation is that you knew straight away the fitting was too big to do a top fitting! Whereas I spent an hour last night trying to make that fitting work with a different seat model. Thankfully Bunnings were very understanding and accepted my return. Wahoo, we have a toilet seat again! 😉🤣 SUBSCRIBED and will check out your other videos! Make sure you keep noting your vids on Bunnings reviews as that's where I found it and I really appreciated it! Cheers 🍻
Thank you very much for the feedback. Always good to know how people find me. I have been MIA recently due to family commitments but will be back posting again soon.
I will replace mine on Thursday. I have 3 toilets however 1 cistern is broken so I have to replace it. I am in Toowoomba from Sunday to Wednesday and tomorrow is Good Friday so the hardware shops are all closed. And I have Kenmore Village all day Saturday to see the Schindler 5400 AP MRL (Lifts) so I will replace the cistern on Thursday
Hi, informative video, thanks. I recently purchased a 2024 Isuzu Dmax and the salesman advised against connecting a battery maintainer (such as Noco) to the battery while still connected to the vehicle. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks for the video, just what I’ve been looking for, looks like we have very similar windows. Can I please ask how big of a gap you have between your window sash and the upstand in the frame and how far you needed to pack out? I have approx 10-11mm gap so I’m unsure if this lock would be suitable. Thanks
Hello Project Lex and thanks for your tips on adding new tie down points. Just wondering what type of bolts and how i remove them on the plastic casing which you mentioned towards the end of your video, that you could replace with 6mm eye bolt 64mm long. I’m just not sure how to remove the existing bolts. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers
I have leaks from the right side where you tighten it, can do do a video on how to fix that, I replaced the oring, but still leaks, I am doing something wrong :) Working on it. Thanks.
