You can use a Volvo s40 electric power steering pump. That’s what a lot of us Honda guys do and the 240 guys use it as well. Several RU-vid videos on it.
@@theknytshift6981 I once heard a guy say better late than never on the B&BW shipment. Enjoyed the genuine commentary. That’s a going to town rig for sure. 👌🏻
So you guys think that honda engineers made a big mistake by Installing 25 degree vtc rather than 50 degree vtc .in k24 rbb motor. So now you are correcting it.????
All the 50° does is allow for a wider ignition timing range. If you're going to stay n/a and use an RBC manifold, it's worth it to change. If you're staying stock RBB manifold, it doesn't make much of a difference, but sets the engine up for better tuning capabilities in the future.
I need to do another pull video, but it just feels way more refined after the tune. I noticed a much better throttle response and high-end than on the basemap. But, it still felt like an animal before as it does now. If yours is 24/20, you should be 20-30hp ish above my setup, so hopefully it doesn't feel like a turd 😅
As seen on TV, performed by an Acura technician, I give this two thumbs up 👍👍😂🤣 I think for me when I get to this it's probably more reason to just delete ABS. Love the NSX shots!
You Fought It Out!!! I usually did the swaps for EF, DA, EG and DC from the bottom of the car with a swivel dolley. For some reason especially EF/DA using a engine hoist makes the swap 1000x harder than it has to be. GREAT CONTENT!!!!
Dude, this is gonna be sick. I had an idea, you should totally dip the Jeep! I'm experimenting with dip on my Hondas right now and especially if you end up with a lil shop or something on the side of the house you could spray it yourself. I used the dip your car stuff to black out my wheels on the Tundra to make a TRD pro theme and fell in love with the stuff, lot less prep and no sanding (unless you need to repair dings or peeling paint). They have all kinds of cool colors and if you don't like it just peel it off or spray over it! Could be the camera angles but the body seems pretty straight so you could have a whole entire color quick 😎
I like the way they look but I'm thinking if t it has the stock 7.6 rear end hard launches will kill the rear needs a 12 bolt or Ford 8.8 but l like it
I have a 90 XJ with the original Renix system in place. Have had the jeep close to 10 years now. Haven't had a major issue out of it, it just keeps running. If the engine has good compression, then I suspect operator error is the issue. The Renix system is simple, once you understand it. That said, I am interested to see how that Honda v6 pans out.
Well, the truck has been passed around like a gravy bowl at Thanksgiving and sat numerous years prior to me owning it. Whether it's due to the Renix system or not, it's extremely outdated. I'd say I'm a pretty decent technician, so I won't say it couldn't be my own fault, but with all the diagnosis and research I've done, I do doubt it. Compression was almost 150 spot on in every cylinder and the engine is amazing. The Renix system just hasn't held up. On my truck, anyway. So, it's all going in the trash lol.
