No I don’t, I have a pair of nippers that has a small bag attached them but I find it gets in the way of my cutting. I have various things I use to catch glass splinters. You can buy a small pop-up photo booth for around £20. It’s made of a very translucent white material and if you cut inside there the softness of the sides means the pieces dropped down into the bottom and then you just sweep them up. I also have an acrylic screen but being hard surface, the pieces will ping off it.

Most people who cut glass use goggles and masks, if you don’t then you’re putting yourself in harms way. On top of which I have been doing this for 20 years. I have never had an accident and I have not got any breathing problems whatsoever. You talk as if the air is filled with millions of particles of glass dust, it isn’t. Tell me something? Do you use diamond glass grinding pads, oil stones, glass sanding paper, hand multi tools ? All of these do exactly the same thing, and all of these create a fine dust, so do you write to every manufacturer and every glass artist that uses these items and tell them that they’re doing it wrong? They are not millions of particles floating around the room there are a few splinters on the table just as there are when you cut glass in the normal way. Why don’t you try this out first and you’ll see for yourself.
