@sugatochattopadhyay6952 I just saw the Thai E-Visa Official Website. The visa waiver for both Taiwan and India is not updated there. Perhaps they will do it later. However, the update is there on Thailand's New Delhi Embassy website.

Hi. I think Cambodia offer visa on arrival. Please check on Google. While coming back, you will get visa free entry to Thailand, but when entering via land border, there maybe a limit on the number of times you can enter in a year. Otherwise, at the Cambodia-Thailand border, you have to clear immigration only. The same process as at an airport.

@anvesh9033 Many times they don't ask visitors to show money, but when they do ask, a bank statement in any currency will not be accepted. They will insist on currency which can be Thai Baht or another popular currency.

Hi. There is no restriction on entry via an airport. But when entering via land border, they restrict the number of times one can enter. It is perhaps twice in a year, but please check online.

@krupavaram1106 It is possible but risky. You can do hotel bookings on Agoda, MakeMyTrip, and Goibibo with "Pay at Hotel" facility. These bookings are guaranteed against your credit card, and if you do not pay at the hotel on the check-in date, your credit card gets charged. The risk is, if the immigration officer decides to see your hotel bookings, and finds a really cheap hotel booked with pay at hotel facility, they may get some doubts.

@Akku_Alka Multiple entry is allowed under the visa free policy as long as it is for genuine travel purpose, and you are arriving at a Thai international airport. They will allow another 30 days when you go to the immigration counter.

@souravmitra3619 The legal position about the requirement of an international driving license to hire bikes in Thailand is not clear, but it has already become a scam. Thai traffic police are imposing fines on tourists using bikes without international driving license. This fine is a minimum of 1000 Baht and you have to go to the nearest police station to pay the fine. Another problem with those bikes is that the bike owner does not buy any insurance. The person renting the bike takes all the risk, including third-party risk.

@mohammedhashir109 Many times, they don't ask about hotel reservations. But if they get a doubt, and ask for it, then a visitor will have to show hotel reservations for the entire stay in Thailand. You may, however, book hotels with "pay later - free cancellation" option which is available on Agoda and Goibibo/MakeMyTrip for select hotels.

@lucifer5573 With an Indian passport, you can pass through immigration without worrying about a visa. Everything is the same as shown in this video, except for hotel booking and funds. You won't need those. If the immigration officer asks, just say that you are taking a flight to Mumbai. If you have a passport from a different country, please let me know.

@ajithdavis6146 It is not possible to board a domestic flight in Thailand without clearing immigration. You will have to clear immigration at DMK but the airline staff will help you go through a special immigration counter. After landing at DMK, look for the airline staff who will be standing near immigration counters holding placards for Phuket flight.

@@ajithdavis6146 At the special counter, it will take only a few minutes. But for that you need to have a single PNR ticket from BLR to HKT. If different PNR, then keep 4 hour gap between flights. There is usually a queue at the regular immigration counter. And you have to check in again for the domestic flight.

@bharatapanigrahy3096 If you enter Thailand on or before Nov 11, 2024, you will get visa free entry and can stay for 30 or 60 days from the date of entry. I believe, from June 1, 2024, they have increased the maximum stay for visa free entry to 60 days.

The letter will contain your friend's name, address, phone number in Thailand, and citizenship details. The letter will also have your own name, address, and passport number, along with dates of stay.
