definitely safe. use it in most of my scapes with heavy rock to protect the glass. doesn't release anything in the water. just make sure its weighed down(soil, rock, sand etc) as it will float.
One of Life's simple facts is that practice makes it better when we you need to relax, let everything have a nice soak & do the test to make sure you did your best. Stay tuned but hit the like to be ringing bells 😎🌊
canister filter connected in cabinet below. the inlet has the skimmer which goes into the canister filter and the outlet is connected to the outflow from the filter
Do you have any videos on how you set up your Fluvalspec ? I have a similar one and I really like how you scraped yours … please let me know I could benefit from your guidance …
didn't record the set up of that one unfortunately. one tip i can give you is because that tank is fairly narrow but long it really looks good with a "triangle shaped" aquascape. great little tank though.
if you have a hob filter i would put it where its not the "center of attention" like it would be if you put it in the middle open area.. either side of the back wall or the either side wall would work fine.
check out this vid. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EWIAGH1iyCU.html same thing applies for low tech only the plants dont grow as fast so less trimming needed
its actually thin tiles of wood i got in a hobby store. i could split it by hand to size. you can use plastic if its sturdy enough to hold the soil back.
💙wow this is totally an amazing tank setup!!!T he whole setup looks lovely and stunning. Absolutely I'm new to your channel and it's super cool, enjoyed watching this video. Nice scape but if u have Corydoras that sand will vanish under the soil.. make sure the soil is always on a higher level then the sand if u have corydoras fish
i have shrimp who do pick at the soil/sand. the rocks and plant roots help support the soil. check my update vids if you wanted to see. no cories though
That's obviously a very well executed tank I love everything expecially plant positioning .I would have Only covered a bit more the lower part of the stem plants on the left side with some more hardscape because those plants tend to look a bit poor and messy when they don't receive enought light.Great job!!
as long as you have higher intensity lighting it will help bring out the reds. in my case the twinstar has a slight pinker tinge that highlights the red colored plants more.
@@user-zc3td3hv6p the aquasoil usually will run out of nutrients after a couple years so you can use root tabs in the soil to help with plant growth if you want to keep it running that long.
@@juscallmej i apologize to make u tired of my questions. I understand all these about aquasoil, just i mean if gets dirt aquarium to using styrofoam board...
