I was 17 and found myself seriously ill (not contagious) but I would not allow my mom to put me in hospital until I'd seen the movie, because I was afraid it would be banned. I had no platelets and sat in the the theater in a heavy coat, stuffing cotton in my mouth to soak up blood from my gums and had a bag in another pocket for the used ones. I went into hospital 6 hours later and was there for nearly 2 months. But I saw the movie. The GF I went with is now my wife.
