I have a '91 GE that I'm gonna be tearing down completely and doing a bottom to top rebuild, swapping in a 1UZ-FE. It's gonna be a very long term build, but I'm super excited.
Passenger side is wrong. For the Passenger side the bottom hose go to the intake inlets or if turbocharged it’s goes to the turbo inlet. Read the instructions from the website to make sure.
Great info mate. I have had an idle issue ever since getting phase 2 injectors and have checked eveything else I can think of. Might be time to make the switch!
Currently have 300° fuel rail with Nismo 740cc injectors. I've never had any issues until recently... Even after getting the injectors ultrasonic cleaned, one is causing problems. I'm looking at going top feed.
@@jeremythompson6822 😅 mine use to clear out after running for a minute, but the first start would be an extended crank and then finally blw out the fuel.
👍🏆Amazing detailed descriptions, love to hear, any news, of, how to improve, the VG. I like when you show, & point, to the part, you are talking about. Only "gripe" would be, ... some times, the words are shown, NOT long enough, for the viewer, ..... to allow, the pertinent info, ... to be absorbed. It's probably, ... a me thing, ..... cuz I find myself, doing this a lot, ..... where I have to rewind, & slow down, ... the video, ... & add the captions, ... to finally, get what's being said.🙃
Switched to top feed Injector Dynamics few weeks ago after I had an AUS side feed fail, spitting an o-ring out and hydrolocking my motor after 2 tanks of e85
I've only heard of it happening a few times, but iI feel as though it's more common than we realize. Definitely a worthwhile, peace of mind investment!
@@Billy_Built I luckily didn't bend a rod, pretty much happened at idle. Car died, fuel pressure dropped from 43 to 2. Turned it over, starter sounded like it fell out the bottom.. Immediately knew what it was.
ZCON is a nissan/infinity family reunion we travel from all across the country, Z1 nationals is another event. Nissan and infinity is probably the most event having traveling automotive platform. Crazy how many times you meet strangers at the beginning of ZCON and by the time it ends you become family, that's what I get out of nissan/ events
12:23 That is the VG30DET, which was in the Gloria. Billy, I first saw that engine in 2003 when I worked at a JDM engine/transmission import shop here in NYC called Jetco Engines (now defunct). Great stuff!
Oh man I remember when my PTU would get water in it and flake out sometimes. It was down 2 cylinders I think, because it sounded like a damn Subaru. It did that if it got wet or I think sometimes in the summer if super hot. 😂
Very cool video, so many different builds. Especially the 2000hp z35, it's rare to see such a beautiful lady taking part in the car scene, props to her. So many built VGs, I wish you had the time to show more details of each one. Great content as always, keep it up!
WoW! That Z Event looks to be the biggest I've seen... But, I've got to tell you that the greatest Z Event is the '94 Slicktop sitting in my driveway after a great day of spirited driving. Well Done, Billy !
@@dannoyes4493 they were saying it's one of, if not the biggest ZCon to date! Im all for the spirited driving!! Unfortunately it rained every single evening during the week of this event leaving me without any kind of event-cruising..

I’m with ya on the heat, never needed to use the sun shades before on my z here in mn. But down south… they were up. And not to rub it in but… I put my ac belt back on for the road trip haha
I drive my Z from mn to Zcon in Brandson Missouri yrs in 2019. Was impressed with the events, guest speakers, and turnout. Hopefully they bring it to the mid west one of these days. Great vid
