Flat Circle History is a RU-vid channel dedicated to near-future conflicts, telling multi-episode stories, styled in the form of documentaries, giving you a view of potential wars to come - both from a strategic level, down to the horrors of battle experienced by individual soldiers.
Who is FCH? Just me. A guy who grew up during the cold war with a love of storytelling, video production, gaming and history. FCH is a nod to Nietzsche and his phrase, "Time is a flat circle", that like most conflicts and tragedies, we as mankind have seen variations of this before, whether in 216 BC or 1944. Maybe if we get a proper peek into the future, we won't repeat the past.

Thanks. These are excellent. As an ex-forces veteran myself, albeit a very safe role during the first gulf war as my only brush with hostilities, I really appreciate your efforts.
I just binged all 13 episodes and it gave me that incredible feeling I got the first time I read Red Storm Rising. Tom Clancy would have loved this! Keep up the awesome work!
Really fantastic series. Very realistic. As an American, we have tons of financial and military obligations to Europe's defense which is sometimes very politically controversial. Many Americans at least know one person who has served in Europe, in my case, my own little brother is stationed in Germany now. Your series is a horrifying reminder of what we are trying to prevent in the world. It has been demonstrated that only through strong, assertive leadership and deterrence can conflict be avoided. Once again, as an American it's not hard to see how these situations could be similarly applied to the very high tensions in the South China Sea as well. We ought to remember that we in western society live in the most peaceful time in human history, relatively speaking. All of that can be taken away in a moment through weak American presidents and poor European cooperation.
It's utterly terrifying and at the same time the series are a disturbing wake-up call that if this would ever become a reality, most line of events would probably look like this or even worse... And this time they would not be repeating their mistakes twice
