I remember a couple years ago you did a video on how many people got poisoned from home canning foods per year. The results were very low. I think this is due to pressure canners.
This is so very helpful. I just used my Nesco electric pressure canner to can my first batch of baked beans. I had a very small amount of siphoning but now I think I know why 😊
How long do you cook your beans before putting in jar ? Are they soft already? And how many cups of beans in each jar? If they are still going to absorb the water in jar, it matters. If they’re already finished cooking then it doesn’t matter. Tia
This was wonderful. So glad I discovered this, and I am especially glad that you posted the previous years videos as well. Thank you so much, great idea! Congratulations to the Lucky winner.
That is good what way to store however I prefer to store in a plastic or a glass container. If we ever have a problem with the grid and the power goes down for a long time or maybe a year, we could have problems mice getting into your home and get into those plastic packages. I like to look a long way ahead and prepare so I will not lose what I have. You could do like you package it and put it also into a hard plastic container to keep the mice out of it.

Funfact: This is the largest single mushroom on earth, they grow mostly in north america during early fall. However, theyre find worldwide because of widespread agriculture
I have a question regarding boxed Sure Jell and “ bulk pectin such as Ball that comes in the canister. I wanted to know how much I need to use instead of the box of pectin .
I love your videos, thanks for sharing! Another way I found to soften tough bread, is to put a slice or two in the microwave with a cup of water on high for 20 seconds. Time varies depending on your microwave. My favorite thing to do with stale bread, is pulse broken pieces in food processor until size you want or cube for dressing!
I have never had an air fryer, I just figured I didn’t need one but now I am rethinking that. After seeing all the things you used it for, I think it could be a good investment.
I think the price is an issue for all. Guess I’ll wait till the holidays or Black Friday sales . Looks like a great product for those families that are just a bit bigger than two. ❤
Well, I had to get a new microwave last month and I opted for the one with the airfryer option! I was able to get rid of my airfryer toaster oven from Cuisinart. So win win I saved space and love the new microwave!❤
