He full of crap but nice guy. I can see right thru his pitch and how he is training the customers to understand that they will be paying up charges from upselling over and over.

How do I do this while working a full time job. Puppy is 6 month old French bulldog and he pees everywhere all the time and I have tried the routine and he goes outside and we reward and come inside and he does great foe a week then he pees in the crate and lays in it and poops in there and he don’t care. I’m at my wits end with him and it’s to the point my husband is ready to give up on him and make us rehome him. I can’t do that but I also can’t be there for 2 weeks straight all day training. I live in a tiny town and we don’t have dog walker or sitters and I have no family here to help.

At what point can the dog go with me everywhere/to work? the reason for asking is I’m a single woman and recent empty Nester. I have type one diabetes and sometimes I don’t wake up to my CGM alarms. I don’t want to die this way. I know that sounds dramatic, but, it’s my truth. At what point would my job be required to accept him/her as an accommodation? If not right away, is it possible to be approved by you if I would have to leave them at home to go to work until they can be with me full time?

with my dog he best advice i was given was to just not use pee pads if the end goal is to have them go out. it confuses them if not done right and adds an extra and needless step to the training process. jus use them to line the puppy area but dont rely on them when it comes to house breaking. I lost sleep for almost a year (small dog so small bladder) due to having to wake up at 3am to take him out then again at 7am but it was well worth it. now I have a 4yr old 30lb adult dog who doesn't have accidents and can be taken on 10 hour flights. the dog wouldn't even use indoor relief area (stood there for all 30 minutes of my layover plus the airline makes pets wear diapers anyway )

A dog has a mind of its own. All the training in the qorld does mot convert a dog to be like any other "medical equipment". I hope soon - that all service dog will be required to be licensed. Like having a placecard for parking in handicap spots.

This guy obviosly doesn't know the GSD and how they respond to lasers. My GSD loves playing laser and she knows when it's play time and she gets great excersice playing with the laser. I live in Winnipeg where it gets to -50 so exercising outside in winter is not always pleasant. My GSD has no behavioral problems. She's extremely well behaved.

There are dogs out there that can play with laser pointers and be just fine, however I can promise you that there are many GSD's that have developed the problems I'm describing in this video. I know because I've been hired to try and fix them and it's one of the most difficult things to try and fix because they literally develop extreme OCD. One of the worst cases I ever saw was a GSD that had lost over 20 pounds because he became so obsessed with chasing the laser pointer that he started looking for it day and night, he didn't want to eat, didn't want to sleep, the only thing he wanted was the laser pointer. The sad thing is that it started off as just a fun game and he was really enjoying it, but he quickly became obsessed. Not all dogs are wired this way, so I'm sure I'll always get the comments from folks that say I'm wrong because their dog loves it, but unfortunately I've dealt with way too many people that said they wished they would have known how dangerous it could become.

My border collie and I were walking in the woods when a huge German Shepherd appeared on the path ahead of us, it's owner nowhere around. The German Shepherd took one look at us and charged. I grabbed my dog, thankfully she was close enough. Always keep your dog close enough to grab or on leash. I had my hiking stick with me, I placed it at an angle, point on the ground to create the best barrier between us and the charging dog. I held that German Shepherd dog at bay for at least 5 mins before the owner finally turned up. The German Shepherd kept circling around us trying to get to my dog and I moved the stick around with us, blocking it every time. It was baffled by the barrier. Since then I have always carried a hiking stick with me and kept off many other dogs that were trying to attack my dog. One was a Great Pyrennees, another a Jack Russell. Kept a pack of four dogs off like that once. Never had to hit the attacking dogs with the stick, just holding that barrier worked while yelling 'NO!' worked. Though I did have to swing the stick at that Jack Russell, those things are relentless. I am just hoping I don't meet an attacking dog smart enough to figure out that they could get past the stick.

Thank you so much for this. I have a Pomeranian pup, and last month, we were attacked by our neighbor's off-leash pitbull mix while we were out minding our business. My dog didn't get bit because I picked her up and shielded her, but I ended up getting bit on my lower back and went to the hospital. Even though the dog is now strictly on a prong collar and a leash while outside I still get extremely nervous whenever I bring my dog outside. I purchased a break stick after the incident just in case but I will definitely get that stun gun when I have the extra money.

My dog has Liver Disease, diagnosed early last year. I was devastated and I’m feeling like a terrible dog parent being that we went to the dog park quite often due to my dog being so social. My dog could’ve also acquired it some other way. Who knows, but I’m sure there are things that dogs can catch at Dog Parks!

So, your test is not for to certify, but more to the point that the dog is not certifiable? I know this is quite a few years old, but it was fun to watch. ty

All Service Dogs HAVE to pass a public access test in order to be graduated. The certificate the dogs get when they pass doesnt mean anything. Just like your high school diploma. There is NO official certification for Service Dogs in the US.

I checked Amazon for this stun gun & received this message: "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location." I then learned that, in Wisconsin, in order to carry a stun gun, one needs a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

I take my pup out on a leash every time. If I take a treat with me, that’s all she’ll focus on. She’s extremely stubborn, has accidents in the house constantly within an hour of being outside (and going then, too) and we are beside ourselves. Any advice? She even goes in her crate!
