At about 8:50, as you were turning right did you not notice RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU the £30m+ waste of space that is the Leeds / Bradford cycle superhighway? That is not a personal dig at you by the way, just nobody sees it or uses it, yet us local taxpayers paid for it.
Great! Thanks for sharing. I just cycled with you down my old Ladbroke Grove neighbourhood from the mountains of Monchique in Southern Portugal. If your'e ever in Ladbroke Grove area again here are good points for a cycle ride - Scrubs lane towards golborne Road, Golborne Road towards bayswater road, Bayswater Road towards Notting Hill Gate, Notting Hill Gate down Portobello Road Until you get to Golborne ROad again, Golborne Road take back roads towards St Marks Road and then the back roads up to Hollank Park avenue, turn right and then cycle towards Holland Park, keep to the right of Holland Park until you reach Kensington High Street and you can either turn left and go towards Hyde Park Corner and into the centre of London or turn right and head towards Hammersmith and then cycle along the River Thames towards Chiswick. :)
Bradford is by no means as bad as it's made out. I'm a West Countryman but lived in Bradford back in the late sixties and early seventies. What is striking about Bradford is the surrounding Pennine upland. It is much more down to earth and homely than the rich Cotswold.
Can tell this was early morning and doing laps round the town centre or as you call it creating a border on your maps was a smart move if you branched out to bd2 bd3 bd4 there’s a good chance u wouldn’t have a bike or a camera 😂
I was born in Bradford, and came to visit March 2023, I enjoyed my time there. It's bitter sweet, both my schools have been knocked down, my dad's old business (had the likes of Smokie and Slade, having their loudspeakers fixed there) is a Pakistani jewellery store, even back in the 70's he was the last white guy in the street. Both the areas I grew up in are now 90% non white.
What a load of crap. Nowt wrong wi Barnsley.Try going to Middlesbrough. You can't go out when it's dark it's that bad. You will get mugged, stabbed or worse. Bradford and London aren't much better. Barnsley is brilliant. We've always lived here and wouldn't ever .move
You seem to have taken to the Bradford mentality straight away - cycling in a pedestrian zone! I guess next you'll get in your car of German manufacture and blast through red lights?
This was the last video posted.. did you go back to London? Can put shame on tarn all you like but crime and stabbings in London is like daily right? 💩
Bradford will alway be the best!!... best restaurants, best parks, best asian foodstores, best places of worship, broadway shopping centre, theatres and museums, extravagant wedding venues, capital of culture and of course friendly people.... people descend on bradford daily so shouldn't criticise as it has all the above to offer.... ❤
You only cycled around the city centre and didn't get to "see" Bradford. Outside of the centre there are places like Girlington, Manningham and Holme Wood - now those places are rough! Although there's a beauty in the decay, poverty and neglect. Lots of veiled racist comments on this video - most have no knowledge of the reasons WHY there is a large Muslim population in West Yorkshire (as well as Indian, Bangladeshi, Polish, Irish, Ukrainian and Lithuanian.) Ignorance is bliss. You also missed a trick by completely missing out the Pennine hills that surround the city. Stunning. Agreed on bad man drivers in muscle cars (hired!) being generally arseholes and any without consideration.
