I have a similar problem with my Sigma 17-50 f2.8 tried everything to wipe here and there but nothing happened..suddenly one of the comments said "Shake the lens hard like a salt shaker" With frustration I tried the suggestion. When I turn on my zve10 suddenly the F symbol has a number on it..2.8...hahahahaha after all these weeks that comment really made my day..thanks to the creator of this video..and shout out to the person who comments and suggested "THE SHAKE OF JOY" tips..that's what i say only experience beat technology
Do you have any recommendations regarding shoulder mounts for long lenses? I’m using a Nikon 300mm f:2.8 with TC2 and it’s pretty heavy for normal hand-held shooting.
Great video, I'm just wondering why you people don't measure the filter size in inches or foot as well. 😆 Let's hope humanity will eventually decide on freaking unit of measurements that everyone understands. 😜
Approach the camera from the operator side, why you hook on from assist side and spin it I’m not sure. The least spinning the better. Also I’d recommend against using a nota arm like that for your control handle, sort a harder mount as it’s a major point of contact. I understand you liking the camera further away but to avoid the pendulum look you get from easy rig footage tucking the camera into your body can give good results also. Try both.
Great video , wonder if you have tested the audio, i dont seem to get the audio from the cameras or an external mic which is connected to the camera …. I dont get how they have 16 tracks supported where are those input signals coming from? I only see the peaking on the ones coming feom the mini xlr
i found out you need to disable the xlr in order for the sound to come from the HDMI... still new for me, need to figure out how to quickly hide or reveal scopes which was fast an easy on atomos but need many clicks on blackmagic.
By default, Canon's manual focus cameras have a speed variation response, but you can change it to a rotation angle variation. I admit that the resistance of the focusing ring is a little light and I much prefer the one on my RF 100 Macro, which is much more dampened. Furthermore, Canon has a killer feature for manual focus with its focus guide system. It allows the AF system to tell you the distance and direction to move the focus ring to achieve focus on the selected AF point. For me the Nikon is a better lens for video because it is totally focus breathing corrected. For photo Canon has a small advantage with less CA.
All that is good... But does it use fan just like the mini pro .. and is it louder than the mini since the extreme pro iso has more buttons and more on- board editor
It doesn't recod BRAW from Blackmagic cameras? What? Okay, I know it's a bit redundant for sure because you can record that internally with those but still kinda perplexing.
Why would you be shooting back and forth with one lens and the other, when both are 70-200 f/2.8 🤷🏻♂️. Tried the new Z model and FL kills it. Works better for me.
Polar Pro: way overpriced for what it is. Get the Nisi C5 or the Freewell Eiger system, save some money, enjoy a better optical quality with the filters and be happy.
In chart test, nikon seems sharper. But in a lot of photos, i loved canon more. And by other reviews, i thought nikon had almost none CA, but i could notice some in the pictures, it has more color fringing than canon. But anyway, loving nikons, 85 1.2 nikon would be incredible for me.
Just picked one up for the OG Komodo for $190 over the portkeys just felt this one was better built and wanted to keep the weight down on the build, Love it so far.
You saved the day Greg! I just finished a shoot and was headed out to an on location headshot shoot for 40 people. Err...grrrr and my 2nd 850 isn't tethering. Did your little trick and voila! Thanks man!
What worked for me was to avoid the narrowest zoom setting on my 11-16mm lens (16mm) - it wasn’t this fix, cleaning the lens contacts, or several other fixes on other RU-vid’s - just in case that helps anyone else who hasn’t had success with these tips (which truly HAVE helped a lot of people, so thankyou btw)
Ah i thought you could use the front screen while it was disconnected that would have been cool, to put the camera up high and see on the front screen idk
Hi! my blackmagic touch screen die, so i can t change setup or use bluetoth in my camera, can I acces to menu and camera settings with this screen, or need to be synked via BT first? i cant get that option XD
