Doordash Earn by time as a Top Dasher … is it actually worth it and does it effect your doordash income . Today I’m going to be putting it to the test as a Doordash Top Dasher to see if it makes any difference on the amount of Doordash pay I receive . Now I’ve done Door dash top dasher videos in the past but this is my first doordash delivery video where I’m testing Earn by time with it . Earn by time doordash and I have not had a very good history together because I’m always getting stuck with the no tippers . So yes Door dash earn by time is a great way to get paid more doordash base pay … however I’m always getting stuck with no tip customers which kills the overall doordash driver experience for me

Earn by time is so bad lol. It makes it to where multi-apping is extremely difficult. (since you can hardly decline any DD orders). And since it gives you mostly no tip/low tip orders, you're more likely to get a scamming customer or someone who gives you a bad review for no reason.

Wait man i have a question. Your first order. you got 9 dollars. Did you get paid for how much time it spent for you to deliver the order? or the base from DD since you technically dont have tips.

So for that first order I got the base pay of $6.18 for the 25 mins of doing the order and a tip of $3.50

$14 in 25 minutes can be converted to an hourly wage by mutiplying the $14 by 60/25. The units (minutes/minutes per hour) cancel out to give you hours in the numerator. 14x60 is 840, and 840/25 is approximately $33.60/hr. I calculated all this mentally before typing it out. Being a genius is not as great as it seems.

Ebt is only good to get your ar up now. Last year i was making 19-22 hr with ebt (15 a hr market) but now it's all no tip high milage out of your zone

I will only do EBT during peak pay late night when it's drive through only or long miles dashmart. Peak pay guarantees 22/hr (+$1 Per order) or 26/hr (+$2 per order). Normally, it's 16/hr which is not worth it.

Earn by time is different in my area. If it says $18.50 per hour, that’s what you’re getting. Usually no tip. And yeah I believe it’s around $18.50 in Atlanta where I live. I don’t do it though. I prefer about $20-25 an hour if I ever deliver.

I was only doing earn by time and had perfect stats and they randomly deactivated me without warning. 100% 5stars and 100 percent acceptance and completion rates. Didn’t matter. Had body camera proving I delivered all my orders. Didn’t matter.

Idea, guess the hidden tips after delivery on Uber eats offers. Bc Uber eats loves to show the hidden tips an hour after delivery. And the amount u are off by gets donated to charity.

It’s plus and minus’s with this if you’ve been dashing for a few years and u know how the algorithm works the times and areas that pay good or not historically.. and the delivery’s areas and restaurant type of orders that don’t tip jack crao earn by time guarantees u income versus getting jack crap … its better then sweating in a warehouse or working at a fast food place but hey I get it some people would rather earn by offer

So far, I have had the best $/hr running per hour during a big peak pay stretch. There was a 6 hour block yesterday and I drove 112 miles for $146. Was it "JUICY!"? not exactly, but it was stress free.

Man you need to quit punishing yourself with earn by time. That is the absolute worst thing in the world. You worked your a** off to get to top dasher status so take advantage of it with hopefully getting high paying offers. These earn by time orders are for rookies or those that really need to get their ARs up quickly. Don't fall for the trap my friend. Keep up the grind and there will be much better days for you ahead!!

So he made about 16.50 an hour on average I make about 15-25 an hour If it’s earn by offer … I don’t think that’s to bad it’s better than nothing and it’s 6 hours which isn’t a long dash in my opinion

Wawa is big in the Philadelphia area (southeast PA) it’s a gas station but also a convenient store and they make really good sandwiches, pizza, burgers, etc. it’s amazing

Earn by Time + Top Dasher tips: go to the suburban/subrural zones that you can never schedule because they can only hold a few dashers, they will have the highest base pay and typically are longer trips with tippers because they are “white flight” neighborhoods. Don’t do central urban zones, really low base pay, short orders and low tippers. Peak pay is DOUBLED on earn by time, so a $3 per order is +$6 per hour

100% not worth it. Even of you manage to make over 20$ per hour (i average 25-35 cherry picking), you still rack up higher expenses and higher miles, so your profit margin wouldn't improve. Not to mention you are serving the worst customers who will tank your ratings. My AR has always been below 30% and thats where its stayin.
