I was able to replace at the bottom a new filter1 and reset the option light on the front panel. I press the reset for three seconds and the red light did not turn off. Please could you give some advise.? Thankyou.
Where’s the video for how to get this filter out when it is stuck???? Apparently this is a common problem and you need to redesign this. In the meantime…I can’t get the filter out to change it.
@@marysutton9118 It didn't on its own... but try folding up a paper towel and placing it between the end of the filter and the little door to the filter area. That fixed our noise.
The holder for my filter broke after the first time I changed it and now I have to have someone come to repair it. Second problem with this refrigerator in a little over a year. Just terrible!
Precious filter is stuck. Afraid to close the door because there’s a lot of resistance and seems like it’ll break if I force it shut. How are you supposed to troubleshoot this?
I did it many times but this time I failed and broke the cab. Now the filter is stuck neither fully inserted nor getting ejected 😢 It’s been more than 10years using this but never get used to doing this. Very stressful. I live in South Korea ….
Bought a used Jenn Aire frig. Had a Maytag before and it has the same type filter. I cannot for the life of me get this new filter to feel and look like it is in place. The water will not work. I took the old one out and ordered new filters then threw it away. Is there some weird thing going on because I did not have a filter in it for a few day? We have an ice maker....WTH??
Interesting, this video of 2 yrs. ago, mentions nothing about the 4 gallon fluch through, but the video from 7 years ago does. Time to call. Consistency takes a holiday.
This is no help at all. The old filter will not turn to the left and there's no handle on it either so it's just stuck there. It's also located on the ceiling of the fridge, not the bottom like in this useless video.
I just went to replace the filter and it says to flush 4 gallons! That's going to take hours to fill 4 gallon containers!! What a waste of money. I'm going back to ice cube trays!! Unbelievable.
