Help, the filter doesn't click into place like it usually does.. and the eject button is all the way out even without any filter in, is something broken? (I'm using a brand new everydrop filter 3, as always). Any help would be much appreciated!
@@lukewill1187 I just didn't replace the filter. I genuinely think they slightly changed the design of the new ones to not work on some old fridge models. I bought them from multiple places, same issue. Problem will be fixed once I replace my fridge I guess
For everyone having a problem with low or no flow after installing a new EveryDrop Filter 3 this simple fix worked for me: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kg9cctDcxME.html

Why does my water contain so many particles? My cheap Brita filter cleans my water much better then this. I followed the steps thoroughly and still the water isn’t clear. A brand new filter should clean water.
Just bought 2 of these filters and I am having the same problem as everyone else. Yes, I know how to install it correctly, have had the frig for several years, install new filters every 6 month.. Put the new Every Drop filter in and the jackhammer noise begins, try to run the water through the filter and the stream gets smaller until it's completely stops. Put the old blue whirlpool filter in again and all is well.. So something is wrong with the design or defective filters. I already spent my money on these filters, have none left to purchase more, So now what? Every Drop Filters will you be me with your product?
Fix: For my frig. On the filters end that fits inside the frig there are 2 stems with orings and one prong with nothing on it. The one prong needs to be trimmed, it's too long. Compare with the filter you are replacing so you don't trim to much off. My wording may not be the best, but I hope this helps someone.

My problem is that I can't see why I need an expensive filter if I'm using city water that is treated. I am concerned though, about leaving an old filter installed as it could be actually getting my clean water dirty. I'd take it out but I suspect that would let water run inside the fridge. Anybody know the answer? I wouldn't trust the company to answer truthfully... they're just interested in selling filters.
When you push the button and pull out the water filter, an internal valve automatically switches to bypass the water filter. A lot of people with under-sink reverse osmosis water filters (which are plumbed to feed the refrigerator as well as a skinny spigot on top of the sink) simply remove this filter as it's no longer needed. Then they take the large round cap off the end of the filter (as it's actually part of the lower grille/kickplate at the bottom front of the fridge) and wrap the outer perimeter of the cap with several layers of 1/2" wide masking tape and then stuff the cap back in the hole in the grille to restore the lower grille to it's previous appearance.
