Hello, maybe you can take a look at this LED door sill, aoonuauto.com/products/toyota-customizer-led-door-sill-powered-by-aa. It doesn't require wiring, just AA batteries. It is more durable than wireless door sills, so you don't have to worry about fast battery consumption or damage.😄
Hello, the red wire in the video is just a regular power wire. We demonstrated how to use a circuit tester pen to find the correct power wire. To locate the power wire that controls the car door switch or the courtesy light, you will need to repeat the testing process. The car emblem is fixed with 3M adhesive, the wires are fed into the engine compartment, and the appropriate wiring connection is found. I did alot of little upgrades to my Honda Pilot to breath some life into it. EVERYONE loves these door sills. I feel some electrical experience would be helpful to install these, and consulting a wiring diagram made things easier. The company was also very helpful via email when i had a small issue. So you guys connected the door sill power wire (red wire) to the car wire in the car (1:20).. Then connect the door sill ground wire to the positive cable you made which Hooks to the battery's + wire?... I'm a bit confused shouldn't the black wire go to the ground?
