EN Update: I have tried to decipher the meaning if you'd like to take a look and maybe correct me ?? I didn't submit it as an official translation due to it being so speculative but if you search for "IMERUAT - バㇳタキ (Battaki)" on Lyrics Translate and go to the comments section, I posted my analysis there. <3 JP 修正: 意味を試しって書いた。もしよろしければ読みてもいいって、リプライで修正してもいいです。 非常に投機でしたから、最終版ではないからオフィシャルな投稿しなかった。しかし、あなたがLyrics Translateに「IMERUAT - バㇳタキ (Battaki)」検索すればって、コメントセクションに私が投稿した。
Thank god for my Japanese Literature class in university. We were studying about the Ainu, and my Sensei showed us this beautiful song showing the beauty of the Ainu people. Instantly subscribed. I love this song, and the artist. Many people hated on the Ainu, but I feel this artist looks absolutely beautiful, along with having an amazing voice and talent. As well as her people (the Ainu) and their culture
I love everything about this video and Imeruat in general. The music , the dance , Mina, Hamauzu and the staff who make possible all of this. Great Job!!
For whatever reason, this song (or the MV) reminds me of Vietnamese refugees. Even though I'm not one of them, I can feel how much they've been through. Weird, I know!
Love it - where the official music video has to perform in its own right, it loses the pure effort and performance of the choreographer and choreography. Glad to see that here. Black lady is clearly awesome, love to see their shared passion.
I think it's really cool how Hamauzu-san made not just the music, but directed and edited the music video and made VFX for it and everything. Of course the other people involved also did a fantastic job, but it's just interesting to me when an artist branches out into other types of art that they're not usually associated with. You can tell this message and concept means a lot to him. I can certainly relate as well. Ein wahrer Künstler. Mina natürlich auch!
