Thing I’ve always respected about AB’s ejections , it not always about the calls against the Yankees. He often points out the bad calls against both sides when he’s getting tossed. It’s basically a “let the guys play it out” type of deal.
Oakland A’s fan since 1988, and I grew up in New Jersey being the biggest Yankee hater ever and yes, this trade might actually go down because this is what we do in Oakland bring up players for other franchises to enjoy💯
Holmes and weaver have been incredible but it’s a little shaky after that. Unless you think Victor Gonzalez, Burdi and marrinacio are gonna continue being amazing
@@slapsyeeter4865 cleveland has been better, they have 6-7 dudes throwing lights out . New York’s starters have been so good without Cole that it’s lightened the load on the bullpen (new yorks bullpen has pitched about 30 fewer innings than cleveland’s because of the starters)
Mason Miller still might go back to the starting rotation in the future. He has been a starter prior to this season. This will inflate his trade value if the A's can convince other teams that he is a potential starter.

Ego is the worst thing for an umpire. It keeps them from making the calls properly and with a clear mind. It makes them double-down even when they know that got it wrong. The problem is, they are NEVER wrong. Its simple, if you make the wrong call, make it right. Thats the whole reason for replays and most of the time, they dont even need it because they can discuss it on the field and make the proper call. Thats why there are multiple umps at any given time. They act like they all agree on every call from every referee on the field. Its stupid and another reason why MLB continue to get in their own way.
I remember being in Trevino’s clutch game. I remember he hit a DINGER to the bleacher in left field. I was in the second deck a little bit behind the third base coach. The stadium we WILD!
