The rivers you fish in MN/ND are nothing but current the entire time (at least on your footage) & I can see how catching a good one from a distance could take you for a ride! Oh, and I'm super impressed how patient you are on a surface bite! It's so hard not to pull right away on a surface strike & you always have the patience to wait that brief moment before pulling.
