Farms other than dungeons exist friends! Rejoice! In this video I go over how I handle Snow Fortress. This location is, without a doubt, my favorite overworld spot to farm. Gold, leather, magic items, and exp PH is fantastic.
Vicars? I did that place a few times, definitely a good mix of enemies but i got in trouble there a few times. Would recommend an aspect character for sure - Vordt
Hey Ronald, Youre right! I did give them a shoutout near the end of the video as there are a few select reds who love to frequent the Snow Fortress. Blacklisted has recently been active there as well. Hes a good guy though so chat him up if you see him haha.
Thanks Straw Hat (hard not to call you Luffy) still waiting on the vid to talk about how a vet UO player can get started on codex/aspects 😇 appreciate your vids! thanks for helping the UO Outlands community!
Hi Nigel! Hahaha, I probably didn't make that any easier by switching to wrestling. Vet UO, as in standard UO and not Outlands? I can work on a video that goes into how I would go about attaining my codex/aspects as a new player if that's in the ballpark of what you are asking? Thank you for your kind words/support!
@@A-Straw-Hat I can second this, I'd love to see a guide on coming from traditional UO to Outlands, what are the differences, what's unique to Outlands and Outlands progression etc...
@@A-Straw-Hat It does, only difference on mine is I went anat 80, no camp and 80 resist spells. I wanted the resist early on while I was leveling codexes from zero now that they are nearly maxed I'm unsure if they resist does much for me.
@@OmegaGamingNetwork Nice! To tell you the truth, I notice not having resist, however chugging a RS potion does wonders. Pop one of those if you are at vicars/daemons and you'll be Hercules for the duration.
@@jre4961 I use plate as I typically farm the more difficult locations. A lot of players like bone armor though so they dont have to take an item off to reduce armor to reduce mind blast damage in pvp.
This spot is awesome! Keep the content coming, please :) One question, though - what do you mean by a progressive spawn in the middle of the fort? You mentioned something similar to me in game about a progressive spawn at Jungle Baths but I don't think I know what you mean.
Thank you for the kind words Herr! So a progressive spawn is a separate spawn at POI ( Points of interest like Jungle Baths ). The mobs are different, sometimes a lot different, and sometimes pretty similar. As you kill them ( it wont always be active, its random ) they will progress into more difficult AND more lucrative mobs. These mobs have a chance to drop a rare, or multiple, unique rare items that only come from that spawn.
