Finally an update.
I got my new Elekit TU-8550 Tube Pre Amplifier Kit. It comes with 6 tubes from Electro Harmonix, four of them are 12AX7 and two are 12AU7.
And I also will give you short update about the progress of TU-8900. So make sure you watch until the end of the video.

I like the 7316 Holland for the 12au7 and Tungsram for the 12ax7 . Found the Telefunken to dry to my taste . Nice video and very nice backround music . Regards .

@@jimmysjunkyard Really personal preference season to taste. Found the 7316 to be very 3d in it sound stage . Tungsram has a tone I like.

@@johnwilliamson467 yep, I agree. I got 5814, 6189 (mainly GE/Sylvania), 12AU7 from Tungsram, Toshiba, and some Japanese brand... I believe some other as well... 😅 Need to explore later....

@@jimmysjunkyard RCA clear tops with black plate are also on the list . Like Sylvania over GE in almost all uses.
