If Caitlin Clark leaves the WNBA then I will not watch another WNBA game and millions of other fans will not watch the WNBA for Real . WNBA can blame the Commissioner and committee and Refs for going bankrupt period they had the Golden Goose and failed to handle the situation so Karma sticks again. Atleast in Europe the refs will call the fouls and Clark will be respected as the Superstar that she is !!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Let’s Go Caitlin Clark !!!❤❤❤❤❤
I think all CC’s fan have been constantly horrified by the CC was treated not only by the refs but also the WNBA for not taking any action over her treatment,by players and the refs seem to have been hired from the blind institute or they were bribed not to see foul’s.
The league crapped on her since day one ! The league will go back to gay and black divas and will eventually fold . No fans mean no money ! Thanks for the memories, Caitlin ! I really enjoyed the excitement you brought to the league! This means the fans have to listen to the players cry about homophobia and racism! WHO CARES ABOUT THE WNBA ? ALL 1500 OF THE FANS THAT WILL GO TO THE GAMES !
Great decision. Caitlin will improve playing in Europe without having to take eye pokes and elbows. And besides, neither the USA women's team coach nor the USA woman's team players think she merits a place on the USA team anyways. Europe will embrace and protect her from them.
These LBGT haters are just hate on normal women like there there this above everyone because I am gay and I am black and how dare you come here in our league being especially white and you are a straight white woman. Just emagine if it was a black straight women and these were white LBGT players the league would be sued into bankruptcy and what piss me off is these bitchs know. But that’s ok god that’s right they have to answer to god and he doesn’t like ugly
WNBA wanted what she brought to the game but also wanted to control her, to dampen her brightness, to put her in her place, to make her submit to their control by trying to remind her, “You don’t have a career without the WNBA”. So they conspired to suppress her abilities through technical fouls for slightest infringement & allowing other players to bully her on the court while NOT calling technical fouls, by the Commissioner always emphasizing other players contributions while down playing hers. Glad she’s going to Europe & hope WNBA goes back to Spirit Airlines, shitty hotel accommodations, brown bag lunches & obscurity.
Warning to all rookie come up through the ranks go overseas don’t play for the wnba they’ll be no money they have not got any ambition to go any bigger than what they are espn will call you useless players will abuse and assault you for making them look bad in front of there 5 fans they’ve got so just let the wnba die slow from dumb arse stupid hopefully someone starts up another girls basketball league new teams new management do not let espn anywhere near you that way it mite run much better that the clowns running it now and all the ones with their egos and jealous behind
The promotion by the wnba of violence against women is criminal and must be investigated by the authorities to prosecute those who allow the violence to continue without suspensions of the guilty parties.
Go WOKE go BROKE, the CCP's grip is tight. Go to Adidas, quality vs. Cheap material build other than most expensive Nike. Woke culture killing Nike an anti American US based company. You reap what you sew Nike
I am not an American nor a follower of basketball. However CC captured my attention and admiration considering her success and what she had to endured both physically and verbally from racist black players and commentators with no support from the WMDA and court officials! I wish her well and will continue watching her progress over here in Europe! Our Gain!
I really dislike videos and supposedly reporting on a shocking comment from Nike CEO. I watch the whole video and they didn’t post the quote that the CEO made. Very poor reporting.
She reversed herself after initially saying she would stay with the Fever. I have never before had any interest in the WNBA, but I found myself anticipating the RU-vid highlights of the Fever games. She was warned that the transition from college would be tough, but it was more than that. It looked as if other players intentionally made it tough in unnecessary and deliberate ways. I hated to see her leave, especially since the team was coming together and she was showing such class. As many others have commented, my interest in the WNBA was short lived. I’ll not be watching again.
Imagine having CC on your roster and not giving her a shoe which would've flown off the shelves. Whoever is in charge of marketing at Nike needs to be fired. I will be boycotting them just as | would if they did this to any player of any race. People are so scared of offending the mostly black / gay players in the WNBA that they will cut off their nose to spite their face.
WARNING: Inamgurshan 0011, at 0:53, claims that Caitlin is "taking the women's baseball world by storm." Not basketball. Not golf. But now she's going to play professional baseball in Europe. Then it talks about female coaches owning their own skills and getting paid for that. It also claims a team contract but fails to (1) say the team and (2) providing any relevant videos regarding the subject. What a troll.
What that old adage. Something about, don’t kill the goose that lays golden eggs. That’s what the WNBA has done. The people in the position of leadership and decision making just shot themselves in the foot. You’d think in this day and age, or date in time, that the people charge would know better by now not to screw things up, especially when the league just got a financial bump in every which way. Was it jealousy, or a initiation type hazing to the new girl in town. What happen to Lives Matter. Not even the NBA players display that type of physical abuse and not get citied for battery, if the did they get fined, and suspended. Just ask Draymon Green. Now that she’s headed to Europe. She won’t have to start gearing up to wear armor for another season in the WNBA. Not even the Bad Boys of the Detroit Pistons cause as much physical harm to any one individual as the whole WNBA did to Clark.
She owns all the rookie records why stay and get abused.... You go girl, you will be much happier in the EU league and make a lot more money! #boycottwnba
You want to be the best then you compete against. You want your own little playground where you can be the top dog, then you’re nothing but a playground team. WNBA is a playground league.
As a starter in all 40 of Indiana’s regular-season games, Clark averaged 19.2 points, a WNBA-high 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, 1.33 steals and 35.4 minutes, leading rookies in all five of those per-game categories except rebounding (third). In addition to posting the fifth-highest single-season assists average in WNBA history, Clark ranked seventh in the league in points, 18th in rebounds, 15th in steals and second in minutes per game. She also had the second-highest free throw percentage in the WNBA (90.6%). Clark set a WNBA single-season record with 337 assists. She also established WNBA single-season rookie records of 769 points and 122 three-pointers made. Clark led the league in three-pointers made and finished six behind the WNBA single-season record of 128 set by New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu last season. A starter for Team WNBA in the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, Clark was named the Kia WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for August, the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week three consecutive times (Weeks 9, 10 and 11) and the Kia WNBA Rookie of the Month four times (May, July, August and September). Behind Clark and fellow 2024 WNBA All-Stars Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, the Fever (20-20) earned a playoff spot for the first time since 2016 and improved its win total by seven games over last season (13-27). Below are additional highlights of Clark’s 2024 regular season: Recorded the first two triple-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history - 19 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists against New York on July 6; and 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against the Los Angeles Sparks on Sept. 4. Set a WNBA single-game record with 19 assists against the Dallas Wings on July 17. Became the first WNBA rookie to have at least 30 points and 10 assists in a game (31 points and 12 assists against Chicago on Aug. 30). Posted 14 games with at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists and eight games with at least 20 points and 10 assists - both WNBA single-season highs. Averaged 24.7 points and 9.3 assists in her first 10 games after the Paris Olympics break - an 8-2 stretch for Indiana that featured its first five-game winning streak since 2015.
One of the most horrific videos ever. She is NOT taking the women’s “baseball” by storm. Ummm…..ahhhh…it’s basketball, I’m quite sure, but I’ll confirm. Get a new gig, seriously.
Sorry she isn’t playing in Europe she didn’t sign shit. She is actually golfing she is due to play in a Prom am in November the Europe leagues are about to start stop with the bullshit bad take
I don't believe you. Show me interview footage of Caitlin's actual announcement. Voting thumbs down on this video. Will come back and change that if you will.respond with actual footage of Caitlin saying that. Ball is in your court.
Clark has clearly been the victim of racism. Additionally, many of the other players resented her clean-cut image. I don’t blame her for leaving. The league’s administration did not have the courage to do anything about the abuses, fouls, and derisive comments. She doesn’t need this crap.
