If Caitlin Clark has had the foresight to keep the rights to her name, ie her brand. The Nike could be in breach of contract if they do not uphold their end of the contract. It could be deemed that Nike are wilfully damaging the Clark brand. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I worked on concert floors all my life and started wearing Knapp two shot shoes at about 18 years of age they where pricey but worth it! These shoes were sold by individual sales people who would come to the job site and take orders the gentlemen who I purchased from retired and I gave Nike a try 😥not good cost more than my Knapp shoes and after a few weeks I would physically have to crawl to bathroom in the morning and soak in a warm tub and limber my feet before I could walk. I found my salesmans address when to his home and thankfully🙏 he could still get the shoes I bought six pairs and wore them until I retired 65 now I was about 30 then. Nike is just hype... Pretty much any wally world shoe is just as good use to wear Dr scholl,s armor on the weekends they are pretty good😉

I play golf and have "never" bought nor subsidized a Nike product of which there are many. Nike is so bad my whole 5some doesn't wear any Nike products and we encourage other brands. I wouldn't wear a free Nike shoe or shirt. I don't like Nike and had wished Clark had not gone with them but I don't play basketball so no big deal. She should have gone with Under Armor or Adidas or preferably some American brand only.

Caitlin Clark's fans and some sports media can be toxic, but Caitlin herself is not part of that. There is no excuse for fans to use racial slurs, threats, or homophobic insults, regardless of what happens on the court. While some fans and media hype up Caitlin, they often disrespect others, particularly Black female athletes. These women are professionals, while we sit at home eating snacks. Racial hate is still rampant in sports, as seen with the Williams sisters, Simone Biles, Sha'Carri Richardson and Coco Gauff. We can't ignore the challenges that Black athletes face in this country. I'm not affiliated with any network, so I'll be straightforward: Caitlin is talented and deserves fan support, but the racial hatred directed at Black players in the WNBA is unacceptable. If you said those comments on the job, you would be fired. The hate speech doesn't come from Black fans; it comes from the usual suspects. Black fans respect Caitlin's talent, but also want to win against her and can handle losses. We don't believe that elevating Caitlin requires denigrating others, and I believe Caitlin feels the same way. The league should have addressed the excessive physical play against BOTH Angle Reese and Caitlin Clark, not just Caitlin. This physicality turned off many fans, yet instead when the league failed to address the issues, Caitlin's fans took it to the streets and resorted to all kinds of racist remarks. Caitlin's fans pretend she's the only player receiving tough fouls; that's simply not true. Ultimately, Caitlin's toxic fans and media supporters fumbled an opportunity create a compelling rivalry akin to Bird vs Magic, which could have helped grow the league. Instead, we witnessed hate, name-calling, and finger-pointing. It fans truly support Caitlin, the should have acted more responsibly and engaged with the league instead of targeting Black athletes. That negativity brought back bad Karma and spoiled what you all wanted.
