This channel follows my meanderings threw various small engine repairs and a Ferrocement house build. With the hope that I can help people feel more confident to get projects done. I just want to do my part in contributing to the wonderful Do It Yourself community we have here on the INTERNET. I am a project oriented person who loves the challenge of something new. The problem I have is that I loose interest when it comes to repetitive repairs of objects. So I keep my self busy with all kinds of projects that come mostly from my every day life. I always try to fix things myself and only as a last resort will I pay for some one to work for me. I hope to evolve this channel into something very fun and helpful as my skills with the camera / editing software improve.

This model is much better than the new HP version for one reason: It has a short delay for self propel. The new version is at least 1.3 seconds, it's terrible design yet again.
What is the belt size i can't seem to locate a number. My broken belt measures 90.5 and Amazon sent 87.5 when the descriptions says 90.5 thanks for your help and time
Dear Ben, Thank you for your excellent review. However, we must point out that when calculating the runtime of the ES960 powering a CPAP machine, it is important to consider the battery's conversion efficiency (a small amount of energy is consumed due to internal boosting, bucking, and resistance). All battery packs have a conversion efficiency-some higher, some lower. The conversion efficiency of the ES960 is approximately 0.85. Therefore, the runtime can be calculated as follows: Runtime = 297.6Wh * conversion efficiency / CPAP power consumption (W) = Runtime (hours). This method provides a more accurate estimate, making it easier for CPAP users to determine the runtime for their machines. Thank you.
@@easylonger So True. But i have found that running it from the “cigarette light” 12 volt port, if bought separately for a CPAP that runs on 12 volts like the dreamstation, lets you skip the inefficiency of the Boost Buck converter and get more time out of of the battery. I love these battery packs and have nothing but an excellent experience with them. I could have and probably should have spent more time on all the ways I use them. I literally illuminated my wedding in the woods with the batteries, also taken them on countless camp outs. Literally used them during blackouts at home. I am seriously happy to own them. Thank you for the opportunity.
@@carldupre9865 with heat and humidity off you can do much more. I don’t remember off hand what the heated hose consumes. CPAP along will almost get you a week.
there's a bit of smell, no smoke, coming out of the exhaust pipe before the engine warms up, 5 miles or so, then the smell goes away ... egr fouled ? catalytic converter ? something else ?
@@solartonytony5868 honestly that might be normal. The emissions are higher before the engine warms up. I sometimes smell my exhaust before the engine warms up.
@@BenHuttash thx Ben, new parts are impossible to find now, everything has been discontinued by honda, oem's seem to be uninterested in this model .... fingers crossed ...
@@solartonytony5868 I didn’t have to take it out. It would certainly give you more room if you did take it out. I think it would only be justified to do so if you needed a radiator flush while you were cleaning the EGR ports.
Whether you're for fiberglass or cellulose, I tend to lean toward cellulose, any insulation in an uninsulated wall is going to be helpful. I know people want to argue about settling and dense packing and all that good stuff, but you are improving your home comfortability situation with any sort of insulation, rather than none.
I went with The Eco Flow EF3 Delta Pro 1300 with 1260 Watt Hours for My Rez Med CPAP from the VA and It only Cost $523.00 Off of Amazon's Prime Day Sale and also a Refurbished 160 Watt Portable Solar Panel and Its a Great Combo for Boondocking or at Home if We lose Power.
Is there any way we could communicate by phone? Is the input shaft pulley supposed to be solid or does the bottom of pulley spin? I notice there's also some play in the pulley where it goes down in the case. The symptom was, I had mowed for 30 minutes, went to put in reverse and mower wouldn't move and there was black smoke coming from under the body.. I thought it was the drive belt, but it was intact. Would appreciate your input.
I don’t have access to a vehicle at the moment, but I have a jump box can I do the same thing with the jump box because when I hook it to the battery I can get it to crank but won’t stay running. I’m far from Mechanically inclined that’s why I’m asking
Best way I test these is disconnect whole main harness and start by jumping the starter If it runs fine it’s the wiring /safety switches … You’re basically eliminating all the electrical by doing this good way to test .
