I’ve learned from RU-vid that Mustangs handle like ice cream on a plate, especially when leaving car meets; Jeeps are absolute garbage; drivers think engine oil lasts the life of a car; if something breaks, keep driving without fix until the car drives no more and you can repair anything that’s broken on your your precision built automobile with with and spray foam.
Best way to know if it's a pulley or bearing is pull the belt. It still could be either. I've seen a bad bearing in an alternator shut down and keep a 350 from being restarted.
In the second video, I'm pretty sure the mechanic was trying to loosen the caliper bolt wrong, look like he was going in the wrong direction, right e tighte lefty loose e?
Yeah i have seen more water in a compressor. It had not gotten service for years. It had almost no oil left and had about 25 gallons of water in a 32 gallon tank.
It was 20F out when my rattling waterpump exploded going down the interstate from Atlanta. It never leaked until it exploded. I looked like the Challenger exploding with all the steam :P I had already bought the new pump but wasn't going to install it when freezing out. I got towed to a shop and had a guy install it. Tipped him $20 for lunch.
I drain my 30 gallon and my 80 gallon every use. I know some guys try and get by with every other time, but no, I've seen too many videos with tanks randomly exploding. I have a receiver dryer inline with it too, before the tank and after the tank.
@@AffordBindEquipment that's good that's what you want, but unfortunately not all of us have that perfectly leaking pump to seal the inside. We have to resort to other methods
@@AffordBindEquipment what type of oil, and does it distribute evenly not just random to one side? Plus if that gets in the lines, just like water, it'll wreak havoc on everything after the valves. And you can't compress a liquid either... I'll figure something out , like I said I have a receiver dryer installed as well to keep the water and humidity down.
"Customer states, I might have screwed up!" that must have been a real novum there. a customer admitting they maybe destroyed it? I'd give them a discount for being honest...
Its insane how many people have done the headlight "fix". I don't like the incandescent bulbs, so how tf are they driving with with tiny stick on "lights"!?
Have you seen what batteries are going for these days? The battery for my 98 regal cost about $90 walk in when I worked at NAPA years ago. Last time I went for a replacement, the quote was $250 for one of the most generic, common battery types! That guy deserves a reward.
0:27 I saw something similar in the wild a couple of weeks ago. It was a RAV4 with front-end damage from an accident. It had an LED puck light secured to a smashed headlight with packing tape.
These clips are another reason why we need more sensors in the new cars cause people are starting to get really lazy on car matanence and ends up getting a new car since they seemed to have destroyed their current one. That wiring job reminds me of how I always had 3 game systems plugged into the TV and banna box during my younger days.
3:30 so... How can this happen from not flushing the cooling system when the system is closed and you change the liquid at least every 100 000km anyway? Where would that stuff come from?
It's rust from the coolant jackets. When people don't change their coolant for a really long time it becomes less anti-corrosive and these tiny bits of rust eventually pile up.
At 1:37 that's at least a clean rats nest of wiring. Like, the owner of that vehicle actually cared enough to take the extra time and effort to put protective sheathes around all of the added wiring, so this is already 1000x better than other rats nests that have been featured on this and other customer states compilation channels.
Whats effed up is its just not dodge, ALL vehicles are Shyt buckets, as in a metal cage wrapped in plastic, and so much emission BS, and plastic, that the engines cannot cool down properly, and while it runs, it runs on the hotter side melting and warping plastic componets. Besides, they only want you to get about 100,000 out of it then trade it in on a new one...
