Hello, I have a 500GB Kingston disk. And I select option A and it tells me Xbox one Drive Target too small for 500gb standars minimum i have a Xbox one fat
Tive problemas ao iniciar o meu XBOX por conta do Drive Blueray. Estava obtendo o erro 100. Mesmo que tem o driver, tive que deixar conectado para que fosse possível iniciar o console.
The hard drive is on the same SATA bus so it can also cause E100 errors. Have you done anything to the Blu-ray drive. If not can you at least insert and eject a disk?
@@mpdavig I don’t have any problems with the disc, I can hear it spinning when I use one. I know the console is in the preview programme. After i use the offline updater it shows me it starts to update after that I get another error E 101 00000504 8B050041 if I chose reset everything i get E100 0000070D 8007002
@@Daniel_Damian I see, the preview program is kind of a pain. It means you have a newer dashboard than the standard one and in turn the offline update. Are you upgrading/replacing your original drive or did the console start booting with errors? The files you need are in the System Update partition number 4. If you don’t have these files you have to wait until the offline update surpasses the preview program version you have now.
@@mpdavig A while ago I’ve changed the power source, it worked alright for a couple of months. One day I tried to update and it was stuck to 76%. I tried to rest the console to the factory settings but instead I got stuck to the troubleshooting screen. I took my console from the preview on my pc app, it’s like this since January. When try to update via USB only goes to 1% and boots to troubleshooting.
Do you know an easier way to do it is to plug both external hard drives into your Xbox and then you can just transfer the data from one external to the other a lot easier. I did it this way when I bought a 8 TB Seagate external hard drive for my Xbox series X and I originally had the 4 TB Seagate external hard drive so I transferred everything from that hard drive to my new hard drive, and it was quick and easy
You Should Create a Script That goes in the system update folder that partitions the drive then goes on to install the OS Name Should be: XPart Or InitilizeX
Kept getting this error code on my Xsx. tried everything then saw this video. I had removed my disc drive awhile back so all I simply had to do was reconnect my disc drive and system was able to update. Thank you!!
Has anyone used the create_xbox_drive_gui.bat version 9 script lately for Xbox One Storage Upgrades/Copies? It started off copying successfully and I'm about halfway through and now that Success status has changed to Failed status. I'm assuming that's what the "Fix Guid values without formatting the drive" is for right?" Is this just normal? But it's still copying btw. The status has changed is all.
as someone who writs things like this for a living... great job! just one question, why not do the eject source drive in the script? that way you don't need to run the script again and just rename the partitions
Thanks for the videos Anyone get this error maybe " Xbox One Drive TARGET Too Small for 500GB Standard Minimum" I used 500GB SSD plus SanDisk ? I chose option a for 500gb partition
If you’re having this issue in 2024+, just shake your controller. I really don’t know why but it works. If that doesn’t work, I suggest getting some electronic cleaner BEFORE you buy all this extra stuff

I'm having a lot of trouble man. I don't know what's going wrong. I've tried all the OSUs for the offline updates and this partition and it doesn't work. I know I'm making progress because now I'm getting signal to the TV and it will attempt to do the offline update but it gets to 1% and fails. I tried it with the a&b folder. Didn't work doing it without it didn't work? I don't know what's going wrong 😢 I have a one terabyte crucial SSD. I just tried it again and I get the same issue. everything happens the same as your video until I plug the flash drive in with the osu1 on it and it just gets to 1 percent and fails with a E101 00000504 8B050041 system error
I also have the exact same issue, and using a Crucial 1tb Ssd drive...brand new. Mine is a BX500. CT1000BX500SSD1 What's yours? This board did have an update issue when I brought it spares/repairs. Can't see any mobo damage however. Thought it was just original hdd failing. It did get o.g hard drive to finish updating and sign in e.t.c, but it will not install the offline updates files on this new ssd, despite following video to the letter, and confirming process against the readme file. Anyone got a clue as to what the issue could be? Incompatible drive somehow? Motherboard fault?
After following this video step by step i get an e106 error and the message "something went wrong" when trying the offline update with the most recent osu1. Please help
That cable is in the controller (XS) there is a SMA connector then the coaxial is soldered to the 2nd PCB, ground then signal. I can't find a single vid of anyone fixing/replacing this on a controller. I got a controller yesterday with the SMA ripped off and it's ruined the controller. I am trying to find a donor atm👍✌
First off I want to thank you for the video. It was very informative and now runs perfectly off my new SSD. I ran into one issue with the controller working intermittently then flashing which I fixed with updating the controller firmware but the boot animation file does not display any boot animation on start up. The system files were created on folder B so I added the boot animation file on that folder. I did add the larger xbox1 x boot animation file, maybe that’s the case. Any help would be appreciated and thanks again for the step by step process video, I learned a couple things!
please help me. As soon as I begin the process of the offline update I get an e101 error saying something went wrong. Ive made sure the flash drive is ntfs formatted, tried multiple different flash drives and hard drives as well as copying a known good working drive. I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong
