Can you really say that there ain't no capital letters when every letter has 4 forms? Initial, middle, final and separate, or is that the old way to write arabic? You could say that initial form is capital, or with names like J. Ramos, wouldn't that J be written with separate form of the letter?
Hello I was hoping to learn Arabic but what type of version would this be ? Just asking because I know theres classical Arabic, modern standered Arabic, Egyptian etc . .
Thank you for these lessons. I've been studying Arabic for six years (slow learner, sorry) and I desire to create more complicated sentences. I've cracked the books on nom, acc and gen cases, but I'm having a tough time applying them in sentence construction. One day I will get them right, insha allah.
Assalamu alaikkum! I have a question about the phrase “ they are close to home” I don’t see the definite “ The” is used, so why is it “ Al-bait” instead “ bait” also the word has kasra below. Why doesn’t it have damma. “Min” doesn’t it mean “from” ? Do we use the preposition’min’ for both “ from & to”? Please clarify this . Shukran.
