day 1308: went to school. it was okay. i was nervous bc i haven’t done in person classes in a long time. will prob have to drop out this semester. cleaned my room, felt very productive 👍 sometimes i wonder if my cat really likes me. like, on one hand she has separation anxiety and hates when i leave her but sometimes she just seems annoyed at me. and she has to like me bc nobody else does she’s all i have
Day 501, Wed: had a phone interview but after the guy didn't call me, I called him and he said he couldn't find my application but he'd call me later to let me know if I needed to fill out another one or not, and he hasn't called back. I know they have my application cause I applied at another location for the same company and they had my application for their interview
Day 500, Tues: half way to 1000, still haven't told anyone I'm journaling here. Got a bunch of stuff done today. Went in for an interview, and spoke with a resources person, filled out some papers, and went to a group. Life sucks sometimes but it's still great to be here
Day 335: Maybe just had the worst, worst day of my life? I'm sure things will get better. Oof, I realize that I'm now at nearly a month away from finishing my quest. I probably could've finished earlier if I had commitment in the past. I love to check on everyone new and old when I sort by newest on here, but I think I'll feel an emptiness in my Brody-shaped heart when the time comes.
Day 55: I played all of Celeste chapter 9 (Farewell) in one sitting, which took a little over 3 hours. It would’ve been a lot less had I not gone for Moonberry, because that took a stupid amount of time. Then I went to see Alexandra Stréliski in concert, which was really sick. I was a little eepy so I had to fight to stay awake, but she had really strong technique and was a very captivating performer.
i have never seen this video before, i had only heard the music countless times from my favourite content creators. this doesn't deny that this is a masterpiece of art.
Day 54: I worked a lot on scheduling for the musical I'm stage managing. It was a fair bit of work as I wasn't able to work on it while at camp, but I think it worked out pretty good. Then I watched the movie Before Sunrise, and I really enjoyed it. I think it's just such an amazing use of the medium, used to tell a story that's more about the characters than what actually happens. I really love stories like that, where the story itself isn't as important as some other aspect. The characters just talked and connected with each other, and I really liked how it felt very real and authentic, in part because many parts of it were improvised. The movie also made me feel really connected to the world and everyone in it. Everybody has a multitude of stories associated with many different places on Earth. Given how we remember these stories and pass them down, it's as if everywhere you go is filled with the ghosts of the people who were once there. I think that's kind of cool.
Day 990: I had two classes today. The first was okay but I’m really excited about the second one (sociology) because the professor seems interesting and passionate
