Welcome to the home of Taylor Mackenzie on RU-vid! I used to race motorbikes all over the world but mainly within the British Superbike Championship.I also post MotoGP, World Superbike and track day riding content. This is also the home of the infamous Mad Mark. Check out my social media channels @taylormac77 too!
the design of the modern GP bike cannot match the looks of the bikes of this era , ,,Modern GP bikes all covered in plastic and aero dynamic wings just don’t cut it for me
Wait for the track in Ahmedabad to get ready then things will improve cause the airports are closer and the hotels near the cirsuit are also great so yeah
Interesting insights👍 Hard to imagine that at this level there is no one in the organisation responsible for managing bureaucratic and logistical arrangements--visas, hotels, transport, etc.--for all team members. Strikes me as highly unprofessional to have people--riders, mechanics, technicians, etc.--waiting at an airport for official documentation. All of this should have been organised and settled well before the first race of the season!
Man I get it, one gets burned out. But with someone of your skill level you shouldn't be struggling to find a team or money. I can't even believe your still stuck the Island of a country. Atleast explore coming to America and running superbikes here or something in motogp. I know the 2nd in kinda a laugh but a good manager should have gotten you there 6 or 7 years ago. Retiring at 28 is just to young with all your heart, skill, and knowledge. Again you need a real manager infront of you taking all that stress off of you so all you need to focus on is riding. Shrug, just seems a waste to lose such an awesome rider because of the lack of proper management for you. Anyway congrads on a amazing win!! And I guess welcome to retirement with the rest of us. Peace ✌
You should try blanchimont at Spa-Francorchamps. with the ssp bike going in 6th gear full throttle while the front and rear wheel is sliding, now that's properly terrifying.
Love seeing some of my favorite Champignones together! 🤩 🥲 Garrett being your brother from another mother! Taz is looking good on the Honda! Hope they can give him a newer, much faster one soon!💪Looking forward to more of these fun vlogs! 💚
Plenty of roads this is possible, so I have been told officer ;-) And as others have said, been to the Isle of Man TT for years and enjoyed doing this with dry stone walls inches away. #NothingBurger
Back in the days I was racing SSP 600 Yamaha R6 in Misano before the track was reversed. And this was special because there were three left hand corners from narrow to "wide". When exiting the last of the three corners it was with full throttle 6th gear, knee down, with the flashing shift light. It's the same corner like today but it was the other way round. Anyway, great track!
People clearly didn't watch the video. It was clearly stated "scariest corner on the world Superbike schedule". But hey. Armchair experts not racing always happy to chime in out of context.
You should try 'Bottom of Barregarrow' and 'Ballagarey' on the Isle of Man just to name some big ball corners. Well, for your safety do not get into road racing. Neva eva ☝🏿🧐
Tarran looks more like a budget Matt Damon. I hope everything is well Garrett, sucks to hear you say you’re sad and depressed mate, reach out to someone, don’t suffer alone. Great content as always 🙂
Nope the most terrifying is ballygarey corner on the Isle of Man TT course. Otherwise known as ballyscarey it’s a balls job, you tip in without rolling of the throttle at speeds of 165mph + . Quite a few riders have lost their lives on the corner which is an ordinary road with the reload furniture that goes with it such as weals, hedges, lampposts, telegraph poles etc etc.
Clearly you’ve never been there either…..you may wish to catch some videos of the course….not even close…closed circuit vs open streets with more corners….many blind, higher prolonged speeds, more jumps, more camber changes, oh and walls and buildings within inches of your corner apex. But please tell us all about this this closed circuit is more technical. I’ll wait.
Kawi doesnt have split throttle bodies so they doing some kind of cylinder deactivation through ignition cut/turning off injectors for EB and initial throttle?
Engine brake edit: i think you might be talking about when he's corner exit?? if so, im gonna go with Traction Control. i think i can hear it cutting in🤞🏿
The old turn going onto the straight at SIR . Concrete walls on both sides, 150 plus, crossing over drag racing ruts onto the straight. Racers died there.
This is the circuit where Sebastian Vettel did those iconic donuts. I watched those when i was just 11 from the start finish grand stands and did not even realise that would be the last time Formula 1 appeared in my home country India. I watched US GP in Austin last year and thought with the growing economic might of India and under leadership of Narendra Modi, Formula 1 should come back to India as countries like United States or Italy have got more than 1 race on the calendar!!!! Whatever you are talking in this video, maybe its chaotic and confusing country, but we welcome guests here.
y train for a road race offroad guys gonna try drive moto cross style atisle of man cos thats how he training u wanna go fast go get in apolice chase thats training
"look where you want to go" further proves that the bike becomes an extension of you. In trampolining, I learned that "where the neck goes, the body will follow" and that idea helped me, somewhat, with getting used to the idea.Very underrated tip but helps a lot.
The Indian government is trying its best to do away with agents and looking to make everything and I suggest for next year try to simply go on the government website and submit your application there without any middlemen or agencies
