Important to remember that a lot of this stuff translates to your road bikes too. A clean well maintained bike, on good tyres, with suspension set up for you - well, it's just a dream 😍to ride.

Thank you, Taylor, and yes the only reason to make a track bike faster is to possibly get in an extra lap per session? Or possibly get the boring straight bits out of the way quicker. For me track days are all about corner fun and self development.

one thing you mentioned about being comfortable on a bike that handles well, my stock bike from the showroom came with clipons from the factory that were essentially not adjustable, being taller and wider that the ideal italian rider I found it very uncomfortable, I was able to adjust the ergonomics slightly but not enough, I had to buy after market clip ons with more adjustability.

The best upgrade you can make is to get some professional training/instruction. Spending money on improving YOU as a rider will make WAY more improvement than any bike upgrade. Totally agree on tires/suspension/handling before power mods.
