I see the problem but i think the problem is more in how men changed and not women. Men became weaker and less confident than ever. It's a double edged sword, yes women don't need men and can be independent. But men still make up the vast majority of infrastructure jobs (garbage collection, sewage, electrical, roads, mechanics/repairmen, construction, etc). Since so many men can't find a partner and see no hope in ever having a family they are starting to work less and less, over 7 million able bodied men in America are simply not working anymore and doing the bare minimum to get by. We live in an interconnected and fragile system, if the internet or electricity goes down for any appreciable amount of time it can be catastrophic. Let's hope automation and immigrants can maintain what the native population of men used to, if not it can spell disaster. At the bare minimum it's already causing lower standards of living as wait times for basic vehicle/home repairs increases to a few months, worse roads, ect.
