My passion is food, whether it is growing, harvesting or cooking and eating.
I will show you my process of grow fresh vegetables for my CSA customers. The highs and lows of growing and showing you what works for me.
I will also be showing great ways to eat those vegetables with various recipes.
As seasons change I will be moving into the kitchen cooking up classic comfort food recipes. Along with solving problems when it comes to making meals.
Thank you so much for these gluten free flat bread videos! Just what I was looking for! I'm about to have a go myself and thinking to try combing lentils and buckwheat as they both seem to bring good characteristics... I'm curious @igfresh2809 what you're regularly making now 1 year on??
I just tried making mayo with evoo....it's all I and and I don't use any other oils so I feel discouraged lol....I asked my husband if He thought regular olive oil would work because the evoo tasted what we will label as green if green had a taste hahah does this taste comparable to regular mayo bought at the store? I use one from trader joes and not trying to spend that much on mayo when I can make it at home it's the only thing I don't make myself!
Home made mayo with evoo is pretty gross. It’s just too strong. If you want a home made mayo without using seed oils. Try an extra light olive oil. It’s more processed than evoo but it’s still made with 100% olives.
Excellent advise Dr Mados. It's much easier and less stressfull to cure with the help of nature rather than going through an unexplained waste of time😊
Sugar free Hershey's and Jif sugar free peanut butter. ZERO guilt! The Hershey bars are available on Amazon. I found the Jif at Walmart Neighborhood Grocery. No disrespect to the host, in fact, it's a great idea for a video. 💃🏼
it"s hard to see in the video whether you"re using raw or toasted buckwheat. Also, have you tried the buckwheat with egg replacer? The red lentil is GREAT but I want to offer options. Thanks for doing these!
Hello, I’ve notice that tent sizes come for instance as 24” & 48” & 60”, ect. length & depth, but the inside of these is slightly less(for example 23.6”, 47.6, or 59.6), but the grow racks are 24”, or 48” in length &/or depth, and so how were you able to fit that rack inside the tent so snug? Do you have a recommendation of how to select a grow tent to accommodate common grow stands sizes without having space on the sides or front so that the grow racks are snug with the sides of the tent like yours? Thanks 🕊
This has 16 g of protein and 26 g of fat per cup. These are high in fat, not protein. You could make substitutions and make them high protein, but as is, the macros for this are terrible.
I have played around with it since this video and the only way to bring down the fat is by using the powder peanut butter. The macros are great if you are keto. lol
@@igfresh2809 I use a homemade mixture of oat flout ,sorghum, tapioca, maize without gm,and rice-I am writing fro Italy and we cannot get hold of the different flours you have in America. We have celiac disease ad mast cell issues so I try to avoid the gums that are in ready bought mixtures and the overload of over refined flours and maize
Looks amazing!!! Simple to make. I’ve had rice like that b4, but never actually cooked it. The only rice I buy is basmati, it’s fragrant and delicious, has its own unique flavor. This is a great recipe for making rice. Thanks for sharing! The Kebabs looking amazing as well!! 😋
I mean 10-15g protein is okay... but in exchange for 324 calories per cup? At that point I'm not sure the protein is relevant. A protein bar has half the calories and twice the protein, making it 4x as protein efficient. Looks tasty though.
Excellent recipe!!! I will be making these. Great ingredients. I’ve been meaning to make peanut butter with chocolate cups, haven’t as of yet. This is an awesome, easy recipe. Love the maple 🍁 syrup. I’m sure you have tons of that up north. I buy it for pancakes. Great video 👍👍👍
I never really picked up that I use it that much. I prefer the taste of maple syrup over honey in baking. Yes no shortage of maple syrup here in Canada.
Ingredients: -200g dark chocolate (he uses 70%) -1 tbsp coconut oil -0.5 cup almond flour -1.5 cup protein powder (this is a lot and his preference. Lower to 3/4 cup per preference) -1 tsp. vanilla extract -1 cup peanut butter -0.25 cup maple syrup (optional, use if you want it sweeter)
@@igfresh2809 perfect, that's what I have! I've actually made something very similar to the filling as a protein snack... I can imagine how good it would be covered in chocolate!
Just tried these and I think you meant a 1/2 cup protein powder. 1.5 cups is a wild amount that left me with way too much filling. Gotta make some smoothies with it haha
Hey Chris, no I meant 1.5 cups. Like I said in the video I love a peanut butter cup with lots of filling. (totally my preference) If you want a normal reasonable amount of filling use 3/4 cup of protein powder. Enjoy!
What is the vanilla ingredient in the Video?, I dont see it in the recipe and i am not sure what to use. (I live in germany and dont know what the liquid vanilla is)
Hey Wosz, I did use a vanilla protein powder in the recipe. Now its not necessary, to us that flavour. My wife and I make this same recipe using chocolate protein powder or flavourless collagen protein. With that said, you can replace the protein powder with more almond flour.
I learned so much last year with the garden and growing vegetables for people. Then learned so much from doing RU-vid. I am a huge believer in 1% change every time. Then looking back over a year a person can change and learn so much!
