When OPI changed their font size, I felt betrayed. ILNP changed their font style and label. Betrayal! Cirque changing cap color?! Are you kidding me?! I think that's around the time they changed all their swatch photos from black backgrounds to white background. Regardless...I don't want a bottle change. Would I get over it? Probably. Maybe? 😂

If I didn't already have SOOO many CG polishes, I'd love a more efficient-to-store-in-my-Helmer-drawers bottle, but the thought of having mixed bottles makes me twitchy, tbh! And, I'm sorry, but I can't afford to re-buy all my current polishes just so the bottles do match, so... Fall & Halloween stuff is starting to hit, but it sure isn't going to be the same without the Mac Daddy annual CG Halloween collection.☹

This was hilarious and not to betray you, but I think I'd rather them change their bottle than their name. I just can't see them giving away all of that built up brand loyalty and history that comes with the name. But then again, I'm also not like a fan of square bottles. So I guess I would vote for an updated font on the bottle. Maybe a new symbol to represent the brand.
Thanks for the tomfoolery. The 2014 China Glaze Halloween Collection got me into nail polish as an adult. Other than what's in the bottle, I don't really care about their branding. Maybe update the brush. That would be nice.
I'm just the right amount of high for this Hahaha! I survived a few indie rebrand! They did have a sub brand in Canada at shoppers that was called 'Ceramic Glaze', inspired decision
omg literally was just looking at my bottle of ceramic glaze this morning, "im on island time" (beautiful bleached neon orangey with a hint of coral) wondering where tf i got it from and why its ceramic glaze and not china glaze and how i did i never notice this before in my collection (its my only bottle of ceramic glaze) but now that you say this it is the same label on the bottom as china glaze (the black one linry lol not white!) thank you @danievelyn3352 ! you solved the mystery lol (canadian shoppers girlie here too...well used to be lol ...and now a bottle of sally hansen is $18.49 !!! (ontario)) so wtf not getting nail polish there anymore.....

Also color club is owned by Forsyth cosmetics, who also do polishes for urban outfitters, five below (funky fingers and fresh paint), studio M in us grocery stores, ceramic arts that pop up in giant tiger everyone once and a while Hahaha! I went down the rabbit hole years ago

So rebrand (to me) could also mean what type of polishes they make? Like in 13 Going On 30 where they had to re-imagine their magazine, maybe CG is trying to re-imagine what colors/fomlrmulas they make? I have absolutely no idea why unless it's more "indie-ish" (flakies, holos, crellies, magnetics which I highly doubt) but anything is possible. A girl can dream!
I feel like a 'rebrand' has to be a logo change or name change, but that's just how I think of it 🤷♀️ I wouldn't think of a bottle change as a rebrand but who knows. I think of ILNP who changed their Logo - I guess I'd consider that a partial rebrand.. but Cirque changing the colour of their caps - not a rebrand in my eyes but just a really annoying move 😂
You're video is hilarious. Janixa's mother does have a very fancy house 🤣🤣🤣 Although I'm not a particular fan of CG's bottle shape, I would not be happy if they changed it. I also wouldn't like a name change. Just thinking about how I would have to re-sort my collection gives me hives...
Ok so, I'm a graphic designer and I'm super picky about design and curently I hate China Glaze because there is way too much writing on their bottles! Too much clutter! What if they don't change their bottles or the name but they could do a graphic design revamp, cleaning up the writing on the front and maybe a logo redesign? Would fit with your label that was different. 🕵
Great video. I honestly always found the China Glaze/Salon Perfect bottles annoying to try and store upright, so if they change the bottle shape I won't complain. In any case - hoping for new finishes and some interesting collabs, I haven't found anything worth buying from their website in years.

I believe a rebrand will include a name change. The political climate in the US is tense with China, and I could see that association being a negative one for the brand.
