Somehow I got lucky and I had this game as a kid growing up. I didn't even realize how good it was. I do know that I played through the whole thing and I loved it. But I didn't really realize it was a masterpiece
Here is what I would love for Mario Kart. Title: maybe SUPER Mario Kart Double Dash or something like that. Customization: customization for each combination of characters and vehicles should be different from others, having their own unique parts to choose from. No two combination sets being alike. Each two characters get a variety of parts and paint jobs to choose from. Coins: Still function in the racing like in 7 and 8, but also, all the coins you collect in the race will also be used as currency to buy more parts and paint jobs. Courses: Like in 7 and 8, but also maybe add in eventually almost if not all the courses from all past games. And maybe some courses if not all of them go through changes during races Special Items: Special items should return. Like the bros' fireball bursts and Bowser's giant shell and maybe new special items for each character like Mario having a cape feather to fly over everyone and gain a good boost in speed. But it would only last shortly or til you slam the ground blowing away all around you. X3 Stats: Stats should also be able to be tweeked some after you select your vehicle parts. Like say if you want to reduce your weight for the sake of more handling or your traction for better acceleration. But only a limited amount to keep the game balanced. We don't want the speedy cool vehicles like b dasher and P wing to suffer like they did in 8 Deluxe Trophies: For More difficult classes you finish and win, the trophies should get bigger, shinier and more detailed. And If you get a perfect score in a cup, instead of a gold trophy, you oughta get a SHINY SPARKLY FANCY DETAILS PLATINUM TROPHY. Most importantly, it needs to have all karts bikes mtvs and combos worthy of being awesome in competitive online. Speed vehicles being REALLY speedy to make up for low acceleration. And MAYBE a decent mini turbo in case they get slammed alot. Also keep 200cc and all cup tour
Super MArio 64 2 should've been released on either a 16MB(128MBit) cartridge; or a 32MB(256MBit) cartridge instead. I understand Nintendo wanted to take advantage of the extra Zip Disk storage at the time, but they should've just followed what Rareware, Konami, 3DO, and Ubisoft were doing and just focused on cartridge development if they couldn't keep their promise in tact. Especially considering the fact that 2nd and 3rd Parties didn't want to keep delaying releases of the games that would come to the console; only to be held back by constant delays of the add-on!
When I was 10 or so I got majoras mask for my birthday, and then discovered we needed this fucking thing in order to play. We went around looking in many gaming stores but it was not available anywhere, so we had to return the game...
thats what my cousin did for my 2009 model wii. i think it was before it was patched but he somehow found out how to homebrew my wii with twilight princess AND the letter bomb. my wii now is an emulation machine.
This comic is one of my favorite things from this game. Not many games did stuff like this. It was actually my the first comic I ever read and one of the ones that got me to start looking into comics. (The others were the Bionicle comics I would read later in life)
Back in the day, bootmii was more important, and I’d argue still is, as it’s your only way to practically guarantee an unbrickable Wii, by backing the whole nand up. (Saved my ass a couple times when messing with custom themes and custom IOS back then!) In fact, my plan when the nand on my Wii dies is to try to flash the bootmii backup to new nand chip manually, and swap the chip(s) with the new one(s). Gonna be fun.
Did they really re release Mario party 1 without patching the analog minigames ? Jesus tapdancing Christ Nintendo is Lazy as hell. They couldn't at the least patch it so you have to mash A instead?
15:53 I was thinking that Petey Piranha had Peach Beach, a track themed around Super Mario Sunshine, and King Boo had the Luigi’s Mansion battle track. I did not take the fact that they’re unlockable characters into account.
thanks to this exploit (more like the tweezers) I was able to download the DWTDTAOSO album and HolyF on my Wii (and Eurovision song contest) Here are some vids if not for the exploit would probably be downloaded on different devices ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vImvzQCb0o8.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kUrZedJCEl4.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LpVraZRIjrY.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jn40gqhxoSY.html I wish I could add ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PzUKeGZiEl0.html but that was on gamecube I used letter bomb!
I know all of those. One fact some fans didn't realize, about the four Bonds, in Perfect Dark, their tuxedo bodies are actually available in its multiplayer mode.
Well this is a swell Mandela-effect- I could've SWORN I played the other Bond models in multiplayer without the use of cheats... but I guess my memory's betraying me here. Also I thought I heard they named the Spyder "Klobb" because they didn't really like Ken Lobb what with how lousy the gun is... now I'm thinking that was maybe a joke I read somewhere and sorted in as fact. Anyway, I won't say no to more Goldeneye facts!
Most of these I knew. The different colors of blood is what eventually lead to the paintball mode cheat being put into the game. With regards to all bonds, each folder for saves had a different profile picture of a different Bond. And there is footage of this online. Most of the commentary about the Klobb I knew with the exception of it being named the Spyder in the manual. Now I'll have to check my copy. There are several references to it as the Spyder in the game files still but they're never exposed to players. The other oddity with Cradle in multiplayer is that your feet will clip through the floor. Why is this noteworthy? License to kill mode. Totally don't have a friend who leveraged that against me to clutch a victory. In addition to Cradle, the Statue park also has multiplayer spawn points in the data but again needs a GameShark code to use. It is very glitchy as entire sections of the level can 'disappear' from being rendered. The player can still move through these areas and collide with objects, just the game doesn't display it. Beyond this, additional levels can be adapted to support multiplayer but they'll have to have their staring points and multiplayer weaponsi injected via GameShark codes Every spawn point and every weapon/ammo placement requires a multiline code. Very tedious to enter on the N64. As for other less known things in the game, the mythical Citadel level actually exists and was able to be uncovered via GameShark codes. Another random thing on the cart is a ZX Spectrum emulator. There are also a handful of cheats that can be activated via button press combos. And while not an explicit cheat, it is possible to lay invisible mines: first throw the mine on a weapon or ammo box, pick up weapon/ammo box and the mine is no longer rendered but it can still explode. Extra fun when combined with floating ammo boxes by shooting them up into the air and then picking them up. Gravity doesn't pull them down when they respawn back in.
It makes sense in regards to the paint ball cheat, as they it in the game. I couldn't find anything in regards to this, but it definitely does line up. Statue is one of the levels, that temps me to go off and do a separate video about it completely given it has quite a lot there. In regards to cradle, the footage I used for the Cradle, was running off an emulator, not from the N64, which is why the fps still looks somewhat clean. Very interesting comment! Thanks, it's a great read.
