Of course if the US economy is slowing down Nationally indeed deflating this seasonal anomaly could be all that is needed for a collapse wholesale in US oil demand as natural gas and dirt cheap coal suddenly takes over from that. Certainly the USA exports far more energy product than it imports and the near totality of these energy imports only come from one source that being Canada. The current speculation in copper is truly a sight to behold in the USA as well.

The US is going to pay more because China is sticking it & you have less on the shelves already, meaning your standard of living is decreasing, you have less.
To the Biden remarks on subsidies. First, it was generally moving in that directions to encourage transitions to save the world. Hence, this allegations is lies. I’m sure the US was also doing that and so was with the rest of the world users been subsidised. The faults is with poor administration of the government who only spent heavily on military, funding rebels in other countries, inciting and supporting wars globally. If these money were to be spent in helping the local industries, this BS excuses wouldn’t be needed. I realised the US congress and government enjoyed poking, disturbing and bullying others by their unwarranted actions and when it backfired, they start to blame those dare to stand up and challenge them as evil and adversary. What kind of logic is this? They thought everyone outside the US are stupid? This kind of incompetence loser wants to govern the world is really a joke where leaders are normally humble, helpful, just and don’t talk with fork tongues.
The host is right. Chips are going to be manufactured in other countries anyway. They are supposed to be cheaper and better even it means they will be made in China. It’s not a new thing so don’t bother 😂 The states should focus on the real new things, like nuclear fusion, quantum computing, AI, MRNA tech.
One bone to pick I have with them is (at least in the stores in Canada that I'm going to) are only having Pike Place ready to drink, whereas I'd prefer a dark roast. If I ask for the dark roast, they'll offer me an Americano (pour over, takes 5 mins), which is fine for some people, but for me, I just want the regular drip brew style, hot, and ready to go. So I'll settle for the Pike, but then I find myself not wanting to go back. Shouldn't a coffee company have more than one choice of coffee?
Biden is desperately trying to save the US industries producing consumer goods that cost at least 30% more than China's equivalent products.
