Various hoop videos by Sports Illustrated/Fan Nation reporter Derek Parker. Oklahoma City Thunder and NBA Draft coverage, among other various projects.
Sarr is a project. Much more so than Risacher and Clingan. Loads of potential for sure, but I’m not sure he’s a good fit for a team that wants to compete for a championship now. Trae is entering his prime and Jalen Johnson is on the cusp of being an All-Star level forward. Risacher has the size and skill to contribute right away with meaningful first team minutes. So does Clingan, who has a NBA ready frame while Sarr would get pushed around on defense by bigger NBA centers. I’d be happy with Risacher or Clingan at one. I wouldn’t be mad at Sarr either, but I would understand if the Hawks go in a different direction.

I don’t think the Holland slide happens. It’s a different draft than last year’s Whitmore slide, and Holland’s defense is a more universally translatable and desirable skill. If he does, that’ll look like a major steal especially in this draft.
I really want to watch your 1st round but as a Grizzlies fan, I'm offended by your prosed pick. Let me tell you this, if Memphis takes anyone that is a short as carter, I will sto watching the team for a while because that means they are not trying to win. You you tube guys love guards too much and you can find them anywhere.
if you a perimeter player then you are either a primary scorer, primary ball handler or a 3 and D. castle can handle the ball but can he become scottie pippen, let alone Luka Doncic? castle can score but can he become zach lavine let alone kobe? castle can play d but can he 3? thus he is an interesting prospect. he has enough tools and skills that if he fixes his flaws he can be a legit star player with size and positional versatility but if he doesn’t then he a career back up or a very flawed starter.
question: why don’t you judge a prospect on positional versatile? what makes bron, giannis, luka, shai so amazing is how many positions they can play. AD was such a great prospect cuz he could play PF or center. you can create a lot more line up combos with a player like castle than a zack lavine since he can play and defend the 1,2& 3. i actually think their are 9 types of players. there is a 1, 2,3,4&5. then their is a -1, a short guy who can play PG (GP the 2nd). there is a +1. a big PG who can play other positions (luka, shai, bron, cade, etc) a wing (1 guy who can play the 2 or 3 like KD) a combo forward (guys like KD and OG who can play the 3 or 4) a Big (wemby, chet, al horford who can play the 4 or 5) the most positions a guy can play or guard the more valuable. in theory you want cade cunningham over devin booker. big point guards and big men who can play 4 & 5 are the most rare and valued commodities. it’s why bron and AD are so great. it’s so much easier to build a quality line up since they are super versatile
Intrigued by Sheppard and Carter on the court together for the Spurs. May be undetsized duo on defense but have athleticism and will be offensive threat.
The fact you have Cavs leaving Zach Edey and going for a trash Ignite player is wild. Yeah this was a no for me. Couple of other picks I didn't agree with either but idc what those teams do to get better.
Wizards need to add another draft pick before 26 and i think it comes down to trading one of the vets to a mid positioned team . Sarr looks like he can be a mismatch problem on most nights but i also see similar traits in Ware or Missi specifically
If Bub and Furphy get a draft invite (which they have) and end the day undrafted (which this mock projects), the ghost of David Stern will consume the souls of at least 25 interns.
He literally said the Hornets and Spurs won't see picks this high for a while. 😂. Please stop with the comedy... This clearly proves your lack of basketball knowledge. 😂
