Hi there and welcome to my channel. I have been making models since i was a child, as most people do. Over the years it became a hobby and i made less as work became more intense. But, over the last few years, with a little more free time, i have concentrated on airbrushing, weathering and model reinforcement (internal steel armatures). All the cad skills i have accumulated, together with countless hours studying reference images and old school (as well as many new school) painting techniques, have allowed me to produce these very accurate versions of original filming miniatures and props. I now have a base of clients who like to have the most accurate version of their chosen miniature and i do my best to make it exactly as they want it. These are videos of some of the models i have made, and coming soon some instructional videos which may help you in your quest for a more accurate looking finish. I hope they inspire you to have a go yourself. Thanks for watching.
That is very impressive and the amount of work and effort put in you should be very proud of your achievements. I’m sure many have asked, and I know it’s a limited run, but how much would you look to retail each unit?
YEAH! True Craftmanship, Skills, Passion,, Will and Effort. Impressive! Instant Subscriber. If You wouldn'dt mind - put me on that List, I'd appreciate it. Thank You.
Ill add your RU-vid name to the list. Just keep checking out the channel and i will post everything youll need to know as we get closer to the final version. Thanks @Paulfarley1358
Hi there. I think we can make that happen for you. I will know more as i get closer to the final design. I will put you on the wish list and we can see in a few weeks time where we are. Thank you for checking it out.
Stumbled across your channel Andy and straight to the top for me for this kind of content. Blind luck finding you but very glad I did. Your channel should be bigger. Thanks man. 👍
AH, the old UK and US names. Its not a Burning torch which i guess is the real definition of the word :-) , but a flashlight or torch as we call it in the UK. In the model itself, i've made it a separate LED and Lens which i made holders for. Hope this helps out, thanks for checking it out. :-)
There are three tunes on there which i made. Im trying to get away from those copyright issues which seem to kill everyone nowadays. Im glad you liked it / them :-). Maybe i should post a music only vid with some visuals. Thanks for checking it out Craig. :-)
Hi Andy, I've never left a comment before, but please please add me to the list (especially as I don't use Facebook. The M4A is my favourite movie prop of all time, and I did a major rebuild of the Hasbro to finally make my own. Your prop looks as good if not better than M4A and your sound effects are astonishing!
Thank you. The sound effects are from an old Pulse rifle electronic kit i had hanging about, so i cant take any credit for that. But i thank you for the kind words. Version 2 should be epic. I will add you to the list right now. Thank you. :-)
@@APmodels I was going to ask if the electronics were Hyperdyne by Jim Shima. I installed those into a SPAT kit years ago and your rifle sounds exactly the same. Beautiful work btw. If this becomes available as a kit, do shout out.
That is a better version than the movie. Even if you sold these as solid plastic they would fly off the shelves for aliens collectors. Looking forward to your solutions for v2.0
HAHA, thanks man. Im not trying to be Hasbro, but i totally appreciate the sentiment Buttonpusher. :-). Yeah i/we have some great ideas to make V2 awesome. 🙂
Yeah its great. I love the original, and this seemed a bit Nerf'ish when i first saw it. but now i've crawled all over it so to speak, i see the nods in the design to the original. Thanks for checking it out.
Its the same Tip Top blaster. Just cut a channel into the trigger guard and route some wires through it. Drill a hole from top to bottom through the grip and dremmel a battery compartment into the grip to hold a Traintek movement light with a penny battery. Then fill the channels in the trigger guard and paint it. :-). Its a great blaster with a few mods. Thanks for checking this out
If you think about it logically it shouldn't really be dirty at all, it's a life raft and not an everyday landing vessel so that should have been the first time it was used.. 🤔
Yes that makes sense. I did loads of research on this, and so did the guy who created the amazing kit. It would be clean if it was all covered, but in the docking system the front end is left exposed to the elements for some reason, and the rear section is covered, which makes it strangely "half weathered to reflect this. Weird but true :-). Thanks for checking the videos out Baxterboy23
Hi there. I just warmed the perspex up in warm water and formed it in my hands with a bout a 10mm droop on each side. Once it cooled down it was almost perfect. So easy it was silly. I thought it would have been far more troublesome. Thanks for watching Robert.
@@APmodels Cheers Andy. Mine will be coming in about a week or so. By the way, what background music is that beat music. I tried shazam to recognise it.
@@050572robert I make the music for all my videos, so i don't think Shazam will know it. Ive had a few people asking about the tunes. Maybe ill do a music montage of the last few years. Good luck with your build, its a great sized piece. :-)
@@APmodels wow man! i love it, thats great music!!! I just play your vids for the music now when fiddling with my kit. BTW, you got your middle claw detail on the front upside down, just in case you want to correct it lol
@@050572robert Im glad you like the tunes, im no musician thats for sure. And thanks for the tip on the "Teeth" I will definitely get those the right way. I cant stop seeing it now you mentioned it :-)
Either a really good replica or one of the two five foot shooting models from the Movie. The other was loaded with pyrotechnics and blown up. This would have had a small rc vehicle come drive out of the bottom back of the ship or was it the front.... I can't remember.
It was a decent size thats for sure. The model in the video is from Craggsmodels.com The APC came out from the front , after dropping down the bottom of the dropship like a ramp. Thanks for checking it out :-)
