My channel is all about building faith in Jesus Christ, and in His restored gospel. I love the Book of Mormon and have learned for myself that it is just as much the Word of God as is the Bible. We have our faith in Christ strengthened as we are taught by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit's role is to testify of Truth. My hope is that by hearing my personal testimony-strengthening and building experiences, that YOUR faith will be strengthened, and YOU will draw closer to Christ. Our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ LOVE YOU, and They want you to choose Them! The Lord has promised that if you knock, He will answer, and if you seek Him, you WILL find Him!

In the early 19th century, public knowledge of Arabian geography was limited, but ancient sources like the Bible and classical texts mentioned fertile regions in southern Arabia, linked to trade routes such as the Incense Route. While most people at the time believed Yemen was entirely desert, regions like Dhofar benefit from monsoon rains, making them fertile. Joseph Smith may have reasoned that coastal areas would be greener based on general geographic principles and possibly fragments of ancient or indirect knowledge from oral traditions or travelers’ accounts. Archaeological discoveries confirming such places could be seen as coincidental, retroactively fitting the Book of Mormon’s narrative. As for Nahom, I’d call it more an educated coincidence than pure luck. Joseph Smith, familiar with the Bible, could have drawn on the name “Nahum” and adapted it for his narrative. This explanation doesn’t require specific geographic knowledge but acknowledges Joseph’s familiarity with religious texts and the tendency to create names that fit historical contexts. While luck remains possible, this explanation suggests intention behind the name without requiring detailed knowledge of the Arabian Peninsula.

It's so funny how people claim that Joseph wrote the B of M. No one who knew him in Palmyra ever made that claim. They always claimed he stole it from Solomon Spaulding of View of the Hebrews or someone else. Why? Because they knew Joseph and they knew he wasn't capable of writing it. Many years later, after the other theories were disproved, detractors began claiming he wrote it because they had no other answer. Word print studies have proved that he didn't. The studies show that it was written by MULTIPLE authors. But, keep trying you guys. You're getting more and more desperate.

Recent research proves the North Eastern, indigenous, Tribes do have the Exact Genetic tag as should be expected. Lehi's cave has been found, with his name in-graved in it. Jews have stated, BoM was translated from Hebrew. The BoM has the following: Chaismus, Discovered in 1930's Quatrains, " " " Sidels law, " " " Individual Writing styles for each book. AI, Artificial Intelligence has confirmed and stated Joseph Smith Couldn't have and Didn't write the BoM. Writing styles are admissible in courts WORLD wide because they are as definitive as finger prints. In other words, Smith, performed the GREATEST MIRACLE in history, writing that book, or it was translated. The USA, in the 1800s, went out of its way to hide artifacts related to Indigenous tribes. Today, the Smithsonian has bee releasing that evidence and further amplifying the Validity and truthfulness of the claims and translation.

Anyone that's researched, it knows that the book of mormon is just a rip-off of other prior bibles. Sometimes word, for word, it has all kinds of anachronisms in there and also was based on some other guys book That basically Joseph just ripped off. There is so much proof that the performance of fraud is not even funny. I can't believe anybody would possibly be believe anything that Joseph there said he was a total, horrible person. He uses power to sexually exploit woman And also murdered people or had them murdered. It was divine justice when they killed him

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and Aramaic, languages we know to have existed, with an alphabet, syntax and phoenetic rules. There are ancient manuscripts of the Old Testament, written in sentences that scholars can understand. The New Testament was written in Greek, a language with letters, an alphabet, that follow rules of syntax and grammar. There are ancient manuscripts of the New Testament, that have been translated from that language. The Book of Mormon exists only as a published English account. The Book of Mormon is claimed to have been written from "reformed Egyptian hieroglyphics," in some sort of letters, alphabet, with rules of syntax, grammar and phoenetic rules. There is NO existing alphabet of "reformed Egyptian hieroglyphics," only a few single characters written on a piece of paper, copied from the golden plates, and shown to Prof. Charles Anthon, whom Mormons claim validated the characters, but which his own letter denies. There are also no "reformed Egyptian hieroglyphic" words, sentences, or paragraphs anywhere in any manuscript form. There are also no existing metal plates of this language. So there IS NO PHYSICAL, ARCHAEOLOGICAL EVIDENCE FOR THE BOOK OF MORMON AT ALL. It is only Joseph Smith and a handful of followers who said they saw these golden plates. However, these "witnesses" would have had no idea, had they looked at any sentences or words engraved on the plates, what they actually were, or said, since they were not conversant in Hebrew, Aramaic, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Mayan or Aztec.

Peer reviewed research from the Berkeley group confirm only 1 in a 15 trillion chance that Nephi and Alma were written by the same author. Paul Gregersen debunked the arrogant Egyptologist opinions against Joseph Smith by presenting proper interpretation. Joseph Smith was right, the Egyptologists were wrong. LDS scripture stands up to scrutiny.

This isn't really relevant to the video but my first question to the validity of the bom (although I didn't call it a question at the time) is the word for word copy from Isiah to second Nephi and the sermon on the mount in 3rd Nephi. How does reformed Egyptian match up with the king james bible word for word? I'm no language expert by any stretch of the imagination, but this doesn't add up unless you are coming from a place of unquestionable faith in the bom. To me there are legitimate problems with church history and modern church trurh claims. I started questioning my beliefs with the assumption that there would be answers, but there are just more questions. And "just don't ask some of those questions" doesn't work.

I don't know and am researching on how this makes sense ad Missionaries visit me. I am also one who learns across the spectrum. My Input: The method that Joseph Smith does this seems inconsistent with the bible. I don't find revelation coming like this to anyone else? I've had information from heaven too so I can't really knock him. I am also a Universal Minister and study multiple faiths an spiritual ideas. He was a Seer... A seer can see this information if they are working with The Almighty Creator or a lesser elohim... in fact I see getting information from spirt a thing. This being what is actually prohibited in the bible but Divination of Yahweh not prohibited, practiced by Aaron. However I seen the people, they will credit the stones often before God, or whatever opens the path. God is the source of knowledge. Did he get this from the same God I know? Thats more my question. I had just learned of this info the other day, thanks for getting it out, as people really using God's Wisdom need to use him for Discernment and not be quick to decide. Reviewing all things and keeping what is good!

By their fruits ye shall know them? One must look at ALL the fruits. While giving heed to BoM scriptures regarding charity, caring for the poor and being courageous are GOOD fruits, let's look at some others: Telling modern Polynesian people and descendants of Native Americans that they are actually descendants of Joseph in the Bible and calling them "Lamanites" equates to robbing them of their true cultural heritage. Claiming that dark skin is loathsome and a curse from God is a most bitter fruit. Claiming that Native Americans who are dark skinned will one day have their skin color changed to "white and delightsome" if they are righteous is a wicked and pernicious doctrine. LDS "prophet" Spencer W. Kimball would tell Native American children that their skin color would change to white if they were righteous. Go listen to the testimony of those people and the psychological effects this doctrine had on them. If you are going to be intellectually honest, you must acknowledge the good AND bitter fruits of the Book of Mormon.

what bothers me is that the book of mormon is much later than bible bible says not to preach another gospel or to add to the words of scripture even if it is revealed from an angel muhammad said he got book bt angel just like joseph smith. But satan can turn himself into an angel of light remember. And satan is the source of the "unexplainable" things written in those books perhaps.

The fruits of Joesph Smith are repellent. If you do not believe that sex with underage girls, sex with other men's wives, polygamy and various forms of fraud are good and holy, you cannot be a good Mormon. Throw in the horrific Brigham Young, if you do not believe in fervent racism, slavery and the slaughtering of Native Americans, you cannot be a good Mormon.

Sir, could you pls check Alma 15:16-18? The text started with two subjects but ended up completing the sentence with only one subject, and then it inserted a long parenthetical statement before concluding the original context. Since English is my second language, it was difficult for me to understand this type of sentence structure. However, I realized that this way of speaking is actually similar to my own style, which now helped me understand it better. There are quite a few people who speak this way when storytelling. So, I think this kind of 'error' may also proves the authenticity of BoM. Could you pls let me know if my argument is proper?

Wow. I love your inspired realization that the inscribers of the metal plates didn’t have white-out. Uh-oh, I'm dating myself... I should have said they couldn't erase or backspace what they'd just carved or painstakingly engraved on the plates. I'd like to write on metal plates some time to see how hard it is, but I don’t have any sheets of gold lying around. I guess they could have scratched it out in a squiggle or they could just restate it to make their goof more clear. Hey, they weren't perfect, as they said themselves. [I backspaced or edited at least 20 times just writing this comment 😊.]

You can't possibly be serious? Mormons claim Smith was brought loads of Egyptian stuff in America which he "translated". But he definitely never saw a map? .... "No! That's impossible! He never saw any of the 100+ 19th century maps of the middle East that were knocking about during the archaeological fever of the 1800s! It was just a miracle that Smith was able to know Lehi went from ...." etc. etc. EDIT: Holy monkey balls. I kept watching and the guy even showed a map of the place with names on it from the 18th century. 🤣🤣🤣 How can people be this dumb?? "He didn't live near a library so couldn't have seen a map! "Just stick with "faith" and stop tyring to prove stuff. It just makes you look brainwashed. "Oh but the tombs! He couldn't have..." No, just... Stop... Please....

Joseph Smith could’ve easily written in different writing styles. That should be obvious to anyone with an IQ over room temperature. You don’t write a text message the same way you do an essay, and pedophile Smith did not write Nephi the same way as Alma. Plus, much of the first person narrative style of the BOM is completely Absent from ancient literature. Even up until the times of the Romans, people wrote in the third person consistently Cesar wrote his entire account of the gallic wars without ever switching to the first person. The book of Mormon is a product of One of the 19th centuries sickest minds, And it is fully irrational to suggest otherwise. I don’t care about the Berkeley study (which was bogus), or the “ Hebrew roots“, Smith was copying the KJV and it shows. You can believe a sex maniac con artist’s lies if you want, but you’ll surely be damned for it.

Out of the church for 3 years now having been driven out by three leaders who in order to protect their own egos saw fit to remove me from the position wherein I was serving. The reason? I stood up to protect the youth from these men who decided that it was a great idea to have an LGBTQ speaker address the youth to instill in them woke ideals. I attended the fireside, and it was as I had feared. A woke symposium bordering on a recruitment rally at times. The LGBTQ cause and movement were promoted. The cause of Christ? Not so much as He was mentioned in passing....mostly in the opening and closing prayers. Stay strong members! Even your inspired leaders are falling victim to this woke nonsense.

Mike what you experienced was NOT the Church. It was a few misguided and confused individuals who made poor decisions. The Gospel is true and only through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints can we have the ordinances of Salvation administered. Hold on to your covenants and the core doctrines of the Church and know that you don’t have to accept the new woke confusion to hold and use a Temple Recommend. Jesus Christ loves every single son and daughter of God. He does not condone sin in any form. He accepts us as we ARE, and leads us to become BETTER through lovingly encouraging us to align our wills to His.

The BoM and Bible are different in their writing styles. If he really copied the Bible books then the BoM would sound much more like the Bible, and would mean Joseph Smith (who is a uneducated farm boy) is a genius who could create contrasting writing styles better than the most brilliant writers of his time.
