Great to see these prosecutors bringing these charges against blatant abuse of police powers. I’ll keep watching in hopes that the judicial system also holds them accountable.
Trump is proven to be a back the blue believer and he absolutely will increase police budgets and defend any use of force on innocent people. He has proven it in the past and history shows that all authoritarian rulers need their armed enforcers out there to keep the little people under control. I really hope we do not get to see this proven again and the critical thinkers out there vote to make sure Trump never gets the chance To continue the abuse on the public.
I went to HS with the son of Bastrop county sheriff around 07-09. His son had a big party got drunk then drove and got in a fatal wreck (he survived) they covered it right up.
Thank you again for doing something about small-town corruption. The media is literally the only thing that can hold corrupt local governments to account.
You've got the one guy plain as day on camera stealing that man's 100k. What's he doing now? Where does he work and live? These are questions we'd have answers to if he stole that from a camera crew no?

Disgusting that this jury acquitted him. When you have a video of the abuse and they still don’t find he committed any criminal acts that’s when you know the justice system is completely corrupt. Saying the first two tases were justified is ridiculous. The sheriff clearly told him he was going to get teased as soon as he turned around inflicting intense fear and causing Johnson to try and run. Just because someone moves does not mean they need to be tortured. The sheriff is not a Jury to hand out punishment. Really sickening behavior.
This is really disgusting that the sheriff would treat this young man in this manner. I agree with Jody that he likely needed some mental health care and possibly a small amount of jail time because he obviously had was in mental crisis when he did what he did to his father. A year and a half later with no help and being abused I am sure he’s in much worse mental shape than he was. I know the parents must feel somewhat guilty but I really hope that this teaches them and others never ever call the police to help in any family crisis. They will almost always make the situation worse. We all need to face that truth. And one more thing to the father. Please do not consider that sheriff your friend in anyway. This is not forgivable. You need to watch the entire video to understand what a horrible man he is.
Sled is bunch of corrupt hemp info cement. The institute for justice took a vár where they railroaded a farmer and destroyed millions of dollars in hemp. With a warrant from a judge that wàvs lied too.
I cannot think of a modern law enforcement agency that is more incompetent, corrupt, and unaccountable than SLED. Ya'll really need to get with the legislature to reduce that agency's stature and power. They never take responsibility for their failures. They should not exist.
It almost seems like SLED should be dis continued because it seems like there's a lot of bs that goes on within their department. These are the type of officers that give good officers bad names, and we see enough of that across the united states
Can’t imagine why citizens are shooting at law enforcement. Could it be because the people are tired of criminals with a badge. Violating their rights all the time and acting like thugs.

This is terrible. What ever it takes, please officers can you try to be a bit understanding... with those you stop or arrest... It doesn't help to treat everyone like a criminal... yes some people are monsters like this cop and k9 killer... but not everyone is remember that please. deescalate deescalate no escalate got it it's not that difficult.
@6:50 mark, Sheriff failed to signal as he entered the lane of traffic…that’s probable cause for any of his deputies to pull over any pesky Citizen for a pre-textual traffic stop (aka fishing expedition). Rules for Thee but NOT for Me.
It's a unmarked police car.Guy probably didn't know it was the police and where was there probable cause for contact with him.They had to get things together(wink wink) during the 9 hour delay of the blue alert.
