This is actually not true, the game's FoV increases and decreases depending on the aspect ratio even if neither change the in-game FoV slider, someone playing at 105 FoV in 4:3 sees much less than someone playing at 105 FoV at 48:9 (3840x720), if you'd like to test it you can create custom resolutions in nvidia control panel: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--ElaSdU76Gw.html
I can force 3840x1080 on my monitor which increases the FOV past the in-game cap of 105, I can even go lower but I can't stand it lower than this... Any 32:9 will be able to replicate this without the black bars

maybe you'll know the answer, this chest wont spawn for me, i dont have honour, i have the dark and light legendary items, but this chest is not there, is it onlky in story/. or is it doing it non story?
do the Memories you have, finishing the ones you have allow you to get new ones that will hopefully tell you to go here the Memories are like mini quests, and you can't have more than 2 at one time, one light and one dark, and you have to do them to spawn the next part of those "quests", and they each tell you to go to a specific location on your map
@@scofozo strange, i just ran it on freeroam and it was there haha, it seems a lot of the stuff is bugged, mannnnnnnnnnny reports of the light items not combining, i have 7 atm and nothing, dismantled down to 5 nothing, went to 4 got one more, and nothing haha so im stuck for now
Thank you. There were a bunch of taken that kept spawning near me (for another event apparently) that I kept thinking I was supposed to grenade. I finally had to RU-vid and came across this quick video.
Question, one of the six targets will not detonate with any grenades i throw at it. Doesn’t matter if i restart game or leave the area and head back. Would you say this is bugged or is there something I’m missing?
some of the cysts may just be part of the environment and the real cyst may be somewhere else, but always in eyesight of the grenade location, sorry I just got to this
you do activites that heal the traveler and at the end of those you get vestiges of light and dark once you get like 5/10 then youll see on the map a memory
this one isnt here for me ive got 7 vestiges of light, and ive gotten the other fragment that requires vestiges of light, but they aren't turning into the purple version nor is this chest here :/
@@scofozo seems that way I just tried dismantling one and gaining another and it seemed to work. I'm sure more people will come here with this bug so hopefully this helps them.
nope posting as I go, probably from more Darkness Memories, this is like my 2nd Memory i've done, darkness memories are obtained by loading into an Overflow zone and finding a chest that is locked by roots, saying something like "needs to be expunged" within 10 yards there should be a puzzle, doing the puzzle lets you unlock the chest one puzzle is standing in a grenade-empowering zone and using your grenade to kill 5 plant spores, another has you follow a path, another has you get a buff to cleanse the pools of damaging blights on the ground, there are more but that's every puzzle off the top of my head
@@l_real_l I think so but I can't confirm, maybe it's based on which patrol zone you're in, The Impasse is where I've been going but I've also done it in The Blooming I think
reload the load zone by going towards the bridge until the next zone loads, then walk back towards the chest, making sure you're going very slowly when you're about to hit the load zone so the game loads everything correctly, this method typically fixes lost sectors and most likely will fix this
Awful video. Cut out all of the useless footage of you wandering around and have footage of where you found all of the orbs. Only watched this because the only other guide was somehow worse.
Sorry I didn't show every orb location, because I was the first player in the world to post a video of this, which is why I didn't hit record til I realized I was doing something nobody else had recorded, hope people find this helpful, knowing the location and what to do is the most pertinent thing, knowing exact locations of each orb isn't necessary to teach since there's one in each of the large glowing zones, which is extremely straightforward, and I wanted to get this info out there, sorry I didn't backtrack
