watched most of the streamers playing sakhal, not impressed at all, most of the time they struggling to cure the salmonella, others getting lost and dying of hunger and thirst, not a single "action" seen bruh
it’s almost like it’s a new map and people are going to struggle to survive? Plus since people don’t know the maps people also won’t know the the hotspots which means a lot more people spread out. I don’t think any of what you said is reflective of the map but rather reflective of how new it is to the player base
Be aware that you need a loooooot of bandages if you’re just missing one piece of the suit. And only use real bandages, not rags, because the latter take too long…
This is all this is only relevant to the official servers no? Community servers with their unlimited sprint and traders and other sweet stuff like different and better guns are miles better.
11GB update I got excited smh. Even though map wasn’t released I thought we’d still get new features or a WIPE AT LEAST 😭😭 I literally been avoiding DayZ until wipe that’s peak fun
the infected meat is the dumbest thing they have added we dont need this its just annoying not a fun mechanic and it just adds another hinderance when u need food i dont need super realism i just want sorta realistic with fun mechanics
Can't play because bohemia fucked up the update, so I played experimental, spawned in thr most east town got geared up, ate some mackeral fought Z's, wondering why the hell 3 others geared up and have suicided around me, I ate my cooked mackerel and my health was constantly going down, I only had a cold/ flu yellow water (and drinking) yellow food (and eating) white temp ++ and yellow blood. Only symptoms was stupid wheezing noises and coughing I took vits also before, guess that's why they suicided
And every ghillie you make yourself with the burlap strips and netting will always be brown. Only finding the woodland and moss at helicopter crash sites and convoys I believe!
The sickness mechanics in DayZ suck. 1.26 has only made it worse. Full food and water, warm body temp and a few minutes in the rain gets you a cold magically then inevitable and repeated death. I was even using codeine and anti-biotics and continued to drain health and died. Extreme scarcity of meds on Official makes this unviable. The new sicknesses, stupidly unrealistic reduced carriage ability, lack of things like codeine and vitamins in more places across the map, ridiculous stamina limitations and completely unbalanced and unrealistic storage size for items (how is a claymore half the size of a rifle?) in what is effectively a running game all detract from this game. It should be realistic, challenging but ultimately more enjoyable with each update. Maybe devs should look to the most popular community servers that still have a zombie and survival centric focus for their inspiration vs whoever they are listening to for “awesome” ideas. All these changes will do is force more murder hobos vs interactions as people are competing for scarcer items and sick all the time. It will also mean you either stay on the coast and run around until you die of a bullet or the flu in an hour or you have to build a base as lone wolfs/survival players can no longer reasonably carry what they need to survive long term. Of course it’s also great that after the 1.26 update no servers are available for some reason…. Bohemia Interactive stuffs it up once again. This time, accidentally launching the DayZ update 14 days early, crashing all servers for the better part of today. To make matters worse, we have to watch PC streamers have all the fun on the new update while we can’t even play the basic game on console. Well done, devs. I can’t say I am looking forward to Frostline, wolf AIDS, a character wipe, or tiny backpacks. I sure would like the basic game to work though. Hire more coders.

@@Woody2Times I’m pretty sure their finger slipped and they gave us 1.26 accidentally, crashing Xbox servers for a day. Then they reverted it back to 1.25. If the game seems the same as before, it’s because it is the same. Frostline releases on October 15th and servers will wipe.
They are buggy rn on the test server. If you go play since the servers are down make sure you are looking at the middle of the boat when you try to get out and stand and not the side, if you jump out in the water it shoots you about 15 under and takes half your health.
I wish the Wellies and Raincoats acted as NBC boot/tops. Basically the same if not better imo. plus NBC gear needs to be smaller in the inventory since its so fragile and infrequently used. As someone issued the stuff in the military i thinks its a fair/realistic ask. Maybe even mask pouch that can attach to bags/plate carriers, belts would be cool.
New players compaining clearly weren’t here from the beginning survival was the indended gameplay loop it took this long of building up elements until it got to be what it is.
