Anytime I hear you now I just see Talos Valcoran from the amber king video. You killed it, sounded exactly what I would have expected Talos to sound like.
Russ sighed as he emerged into realspace. The stable reality felt more safe to him then the warp ever did even if subconsciously it was otherwise. He drove gungnir into the earth, and he sat. It would be a moment. Grabbing from his cloak folds, was a helmet. Not any helmet however. Horus' luna wolves armor helm. Unknown to anyone else, russ stole the helm milenia ago,the one thing which reminded russ about the man that was once his brother that wasnt twisted by the aethyr. He set it down, knowing he would never need it again. "Sleep well brother. Whereever you are. I have a job to do." Russ' eyes crackled with lightning. Frost began emerging and in an instant vanished like a thunderclap. There was a job he had to finish. The tree of life. But he would need a brother who understood the warp better then he. He needed Corvus.
@TalesOfTerraVA you should do the one where The Lion roasted Roboute in Angels of Caliban the line where he says There you go Roboute taking care of Imperium secundus like a parent and he says he's a man of Action and Achievements.
The Kurze voice you chose here is so disturbing. Slimy and sneaky and yet menacing belying a cruel cunning and horrible power. He sounds so serpentine I could almost picture him tasting the air with a forked tongue and yet it Carrie’s the subtle hint of a tortured soul. The voice of a man that only a brother could love. Bravo sir. And very well done.
Thank you so much for your kind words brother. Glad it came across this way, that’s what I was going for! Hopefully within the next couple of months I’ll get back to making videos and release something new for you!
Russ had no idea what he was doing. He knew nothing of Angron, nothing of the World Eaters, and simply assumed that Angron was like every other Primarch. Even the Traitors felt a close bond to their Astartes, Russ assumed Angron was the same. This is where he realized how wrong he was, and had no way to process it. His whole plan hinged on Angron actually caring about his Sons, caring for their safety and well being - which nothing (literally, perhaps) in Angron's history with the Imperium would have given ANY indication that Angron cared one whit about his Sons. Part of me wonders if Angron held back a bit too, in the hopes that Russ would kill him. After all, if Russ died... who would be left on this planet who could give Angron the death in battle he craved?
He has amazing character development. I would highly recommend reading all the Word Bearer’s books. Despite all of his actions (which are mostly bad), and that he is clearly on the side of the bad guys, he never comes across as evil or comically villainous. He has a moral compass and he has genuine bonds with other Astartes.
Thanks for the feedback! When I come back to making videos (hopefully fairly soon), I’ll be using work by artists similar to the most recent videos so the approach will probably be quite different.
Agreed! It was an experiment at the time as I wanted to have unique thumbnails, but in the end I got tired of it as AI art became oversaturated online. You’ll see in the latest videos I’m using work by real artists.
I wonder what the point of their power armor is when prettymuch all weapons an astartes uses ...carves through it like butter ? And most tyranid claws cut through..prettymuch any weapon goes through.....hmmm power armor doesn't make a lot of sense in this regard.
Its poeti ally fitting that your narration of Emps sounds younger than the Primarchs, showing the difference in their age and aging, and the sheer gap between thm in mere levels of existence.
God if Perturabo and Vashtorr got to work on producing enough techno virus to saturate a planet and its atmosphere rapidly with the push of a button, all the iron warriors would have to do is create bombs that deploy the virus and place them all over a planet. They could infect all life on said planet and Vashtorr would easily enslave the infected with his power over technology! I bring this all up, because the iron warriors once infected a tyranid bioship with their Technovirus and turned that same ship into a Titan carrier. This virus can infect TYRANID’S! You get enough of that virus to rapidly infect a hive fleet of tyranids, Vashtorr could enslave them all with his power and turn them into a horde of monstrous, techno-organic bug dinosaurs that eat Prometheum, are a living arsenal depending on the more tech they’ve learned, but most importantly, ripe for becoming demon engines in service to Vashtorr.
After Argel Tal’s character development over a number of books, he grew to be one of my favourites by far. There was no way I was going to be happy to see him killed especially by Erebus’ hand!
The danger of a character like Big E is being able to see what a gigantic douche bag he is while viewing him as the pinnacle of humanity at the same time.
The Laer Blade “hardly being the equal of Fireblade” truly is a compliment to Ferrus Manus’s skills as a smith. The gravely voice of Ferrus is nigh perfect! Amazing work. “These picts are good” fucking killed me. I love how Ferrus is asking Fulgrim to explain the abstract works to him and, even though he believes they are distractions to the Great Crusade and may not fully understand their purpose or meaning, Manus is taking an interest in his brother’s passions and creative works. Another great piece of character for Ferrus is that he respects Horus as Warmaster, recognizing his brother’s strength and the Luna Wolves victories as deserving of the position. And he honestly said that he did not want the position because he could not fill out ALL the roles required of the title. I believe he realized this during the Gardinaal campaign.
The Lion broke Konrad Curze back like Bane broke Batman's. "Theatrically and deception, powerful agents to the uninitiated, but we are initiated aren't we Konrad?" "You fight like a younger man. Nothing held back. Admirable, but mistaken."
Thank you so much for listening! I’ve been on a bit of a break but will be uploading again soon! For something newer, I voiced Talos for The Amber King here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dm78QVX8h00.htmlsi=7qkvipM73GvIoG0m
Him and Kurze really is tragic.Kurze story is just as bad maybe worse seeing he was only a child forced to survive alone murdering criminals while having nightmare visions. But only these 2 really deserve to be saved.
