The danger of a character like Big E is being able to see what a gigantic douche bag he is while viewing him as the pinnacle of humanity at the same time.

Its poeti ally fitting that your narration of Emps sounds younger than the Primarchs, showing the difference in their age and aging, and the sheer gap between thm in mere levels of existence.

I think it's cool how the Emperor is referred to as 'Revelation'

The Emperor cares about Malcador and his sons. Everyone is quick to judge a situation they have never been placed into before or even experienced it second hand. The Emperor literally stole power from Chaos in order to help us little guys & gals, took on the whole responsibility of protecting the universe, and still tried to be a Dad and friend. Big E isnt a perfect character but hes trying his best my dudes.

I caution people to remember that Revelation was trying to goad Malcidor into feeling the same scorn-driven treason the Chaos Gods convinced Horus to feel towards him. In reality, he trusted and need Maclidor greatly, knew he was the only other psyker still on his team who could control the Golden Throne, and named him Malcidor The Hero. Malcidor's death was as tragic and sobering a fact as the Emperor's wounding.

I suspect Emps is testing Malc but regardless...someone give that Sigilite a hug.

I think those words hurt big E more than they hurt Malcador. at least he got Malcador in the proper mindset.

The problem with Big E is that no one can write him, correctly. It's impossible. He's a forty-thousand-year-old, super-genius, God-among-Men. No one has the necessary perspective to understand who he is or what his motives might be. But, they try. And they call him evil, or callous, due to their interpretation of the inherently incomplete interpretations of others.

I know big E has recently been played down especially with the addition of.....*cringe* space mom. But its still hard to see big E treat malc with such coldness just to prove a point.

The being known as gilgamesh,and hundreds more names looked across the veil into reality. Seeing everything that was to come. Something had to be done. He couldn't rise from the throne sure. But something could. Revelation flexed its own power. Not merely the power of a god,not merely the emporors power. His own natural talent. Focus. And with a carving motion,stepped outside. The revelation found himself in reality on a familar world. Entering into the crypts,he came across one. It was simple yet fine. Brushing his hand aganst it,the shard cried a tear. "...i am sorry old friend. For everything. ...i do not know how long i will last as one shard in realspace. But please. With all those who stood with me. Watch what i do, and give me the will to go on." The shard then left outside and into the wilds. He wouldn't go to the inperium yet. That comes later. 1st however...the beginning. As all things in regicide the opening move is most important. this is the 1st of a new move. A risky. But potentially effective move... To be continued.
