I'm an ADHD life + business coach with a mind that works faster than a quick-dry nail polish. I have figured out how to master my ADHD brain through LOTS of inner work, external structure and getting real about who I am, and what I'm here to do, and I get a thrill out of helping other women like me, do the same.

Whether you have ADHD or you're just a little "ADD-ish", the end result is the same - not enough focus and way too many plates spinning in the air. I've spent a lifetime collecting tools and strategies for coping with my own focus and follow-through issues, and I share them all here. From wellness & entrepreneurship to minimizing and simplifying your work and life, I cover it all through the lens of thriving with ADHD.

We’re so conditioned to believe life is easier for other people I think. Like you said you caught yourself thinking ‘it must be nice’. It’s finding that self awareness to recognise when you’re in that headspace and reframe it. Great video Caren. ❤

I have gotten that comment when people think I am self indulgent somehow, or just preoccupied with trivial things. Very hostile. And I have backed off from some people hearing these UNcompassionate, envious statements.

Not a day goes by that I dont say to myself "one day it will all be over" . I don't think i am suicidal but i am definitely a man who is waiting to die at 52. I don't have it bad. I have a great son, career, friends. I think I am tired of frustration. I am tired of forgetting and losing things. tired of being late. I get triggered so fast. I fucking snap in a second. not at people, although i could. it's usually at some piece of shit item i bought from amazon or some other shit. nothing works, my tools break, my stuff breaks, everything sucks. . I find myself hoping that there is nothing after this life no heaven, no consciousness, no nothing, I just want to not exist at all.

I believe it is passive aggression, common in vulnerable narcs. The worst one I have seen was someone saying that to a cancer survivor because their's was terminal 😮. Thank you to everyone who shares their journey with the aim to help others. Go Caren 😊. You continue to support me and I am grateful.

Finally I have an answer ! I’m 23 and dang near have worked as many jobs as my age ! I always self sabotage and I’m sad after. I made an impulsive decision to leave my state job and I beat myself up about it everyday and other good companies I liked.

What I’ve noticed is that when you become awesome, actualized, narcissists come out of the woodwork to use, abuse, or sabotage you and are a potential disaster to be mitigated by careful pre-planning. ADHD can make managing the beasties, keeping them at bay, tiring when combined with the desire to live peacefully with the fruits of your most fervent efforts. (Does this make sense, or am I talking crazy here?)

I have time. I fall asleep after I eat so… I either skip eating till I do the task and/or fall asleep for at least 30 minutes then, do the task, but… late! I’m usually pleased about accomplishing the task, but… I also end up in bed later which is not good. Today, I will write down a WHY. I must. Cheers.

When we feel jealousy towards others who are achieving the very things that we would like to achieve it is a good indication from our soul that it would serve us well to go for those achievements ourselves, instead of wallow in jealousy or resentment. The annoyance and "must be nice" reaction is just our ego justifying that we can't do anything to change because the ego never wants us to change. However this signal of jealousy is a great way to know that it is time to make positive changes in our lives and begin moving towards our heart's desire. When we take steps towards our soul's purpose and follow our hearts, we will no longer feel jealousy for those people that we used to. These individuals that have made great strides in the game of life could instead be our mentors, our heroes, and our inspiration towards our goals.

$30,000 for being in a club for a year? That's disgusting! I don't care if Warren Buffet is running it. 30,000 is tuition at college for a year, or cancer treatment for a few months. I'm sure the sales people in that group can try to justify that it's worth the risk because they can help you earn it back, blah blah blah. Those people have never had to actually labor in their lives. They have never worked in a factory or a warehouse or a hospital. They only know air conditioned offices and yes men making their coffee for them. They can't fathom what the real world is like. If they lost it all tomorrow, they would crumble.

Also, it is the fact that you have to sacrifice something. When you say "must be nice," you are closing yourself off to the possibility of you doing the same thing. You are telling yourself that you are unwilling to do what they did, which starts an even bigger spiral. Then, you start punching holes it why it isn't for you, and you cause more anxiety/anti-dopamine.

I understand the feeling of being the recipient of a “must be nice” comment. Your content has helped me so I hope maybe you get some value from a different perspective. A good part of your content is geared towards people with ADHD. You have talked about impulsivity and self regulation. I like to think maybe the person making the comment is at low point and having a bad day. If you run a garage you can’t get mad when your customers broken cars leak oil on the floor. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re doing it well.

This is helpful. I also agree that nutrition has a lot to do with it. I saw a comment where someone was eating chocolate, which I also love. Unfortunately most chocolate has lead & cadmium in it…..which is obviously toxic. We can’t escape everything, but just do our best to eat Whole Foods & nothing processed. When we are not well, everything seems harder.

They’re exhausting, I got divorced a couple years ago and with that I got rid of social media… annnnndddd holy shit I’ve never seen a bigger bag of brainwashing in my life. It’s sad. Sorry I got distracted, social norms are Exhausting. I wear comfortable clothes. I’m done with the absolute lunatic obsession with being EXACTLY ON TIME.. it actually makes me mad because it’s a life full of trauma tied to that one. I’ve lost friendships/relationships over 10-15 minutes. How insane is that? I also realized I had several individuals in my life that were extremely emotionally draining for me. I would literally DREAD any of the effort put in to any of those relationships anymore…’and I finally just …. Stopped talking to them. It was awkward a little bit for a little while , I just kept not answering. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m good
