Imagine you're a five year old boy, it's a beautiful Saturday afternoon in September 1976. You're sitting in the living room playing with your Lego. Your mother turns on the radio and the first song you hear is Still the One by Orleans. I'm glad this boy was me!
Wow , I remember Solid Gold , I was 12 years old old , I used to fight w/ my brothers for the TV lol 🤣👍👏👏👏👏👏and I love this Timeless song , the ones that don’t make no more 🗽❤️🇨🇺🇺🇸
I'm 75 born in 1949. Pers 3:56 onally, I feel I'm the luckiest guy to grown up in the 50s 60s and then started my family in the 70s. All that time I got to enjoy the BEST music that was sung by the most talented musicians. Here is a great example of what I'm talking about. True talent is eternal. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
In 1970, Boffolongo recorded the original and it didn't do well. 1972, King Harvest recorded the most successful version. For my taste, I feel the cover by Orleans is perfect. The tempo is a bit slower and is better suited for dancing.
